After having amassed many a fan because of her work in "Big Bang Theory', 'Call Me Kat' and of course, 'Blossom', actress, mother, and neuroscientist Mayim Bialik is using her fame and fanbase to try and remove the stigma around mental health via a new podcast. 

And you guessed it, the title of the podcast is 'Breakdown' and Bialik jokes that the name was kept just so that she could start the show, saying, "Welcome to My Breakdown" to keep it light and quirky.

And this was the hilarious teaser to the show, that Mayim posted on her Instagram page for almost 300,000 views. 

One fan did seem to get rather concerned, writing, "

I hope this doesn’t mean your new show is canceled because I love it ♥️I hope you are okay ? I hope it is not dirty in there haha"...

Yet another fan was also a tad high on humor as they commented, "Well at least you’re recyclable ...?"...

Stripping Off The Stigma

The idea of the podcast that Bialik co-hosts with her partner, Jonathan Cohen, apparently her second favorite Cohen (the first being Leonard Cohen), is to break down mental health issues, so that "you don't have to". 

What do fans and followers think?

"Mental health is the same as physical health, sadly it isn't addressed enough. Asking someone, "How are you doing?" meaning it and expressing true feelings shouldn't be taboo. Absolutely excited you're doing this! Thank you, Dr. Bialik! ??"

Puppies Help, For Sure!

So there's Mayim, learning a thing or two about puppers and busting stress along the way. 

But for people who cannot cope with their stress with dogs alone, Bialik's Breakdown is proving a godsend. 

Wrote one of her blown-away fans after watching the very first episode on anxiety, "this episode was so important to me! at the end of 2020, I was finally diagnosed with a general anxiety disorder (even though I’m pretty I’ve had them forever) and I felt really understood by you. ❤️ so thank you for bringing this to life! you truly are light ?"...

Call Her Kat?

If you want more of Mayim Bialik, then one of her latest shows is "Call Me Kat", loosely based on the British sitcom, Miranda, and following the life and struggled of a 35-year-old single woman, Kat, who leaves her job as a professor and opens a cat cafe instead. 

Fans seem pretty excited about it, commenting, "I am so excited. BBCs Miranda was my quarantine binge watch. So excited for your take on it"

Said another, "I can't wait for it to arrive in Italy! I miss Amy so much ... I'm sure you'll be amazing, as always ? good luck ❤️"...
