According to TMZ, the 28-year-old comedian has called it quits on his relationship with his girlfriend, Jessica Lord.

Rife and Lord initially met in 2022 in Mississippi but started seeing each other in June of the following year, as the dancer was with someone when they first met.

A source told the news outlet that the pair broke up in March and that the decision to end things was amicable.

The duo's relationship had simply run "its course," and Rife has remained single ever since. He has turned his attention towards work and is "focusing on his stand-up tour."

Rife and Lord's relationship lasted only nine months despite the "Wild 'N Out" alum gushing over her shortly after they began dating.

In October last year, the stand-up comic hyped Lord up and told People magazine that she was his biggest supporter at the time.

Just last month, Rife had to take a two-week break from taking to the stage to crack people up on his tour because of some health concerns.

Rife is currently on his sold-out ProbleMATTic World Tour, a 115-date run spanning two years and three continents, but he had to pause early last month due to "extreme exhaustion."

He also took to Instagram at the time to apologize to fans for any inconvenience caused.

"I'm so ... sorry, but due to a last-minute medical emergency I have to reschedule our shows tonight (again)," Rife wrote. "I've been doing 40+ shows a month for a year and a half and never had to do something like this, I'm so so sorry, I hope you understand and I love you so much."

Despite Rife's apology and health scare, some of his fans expressed anger online, noting that they had booked flights and accommodation to see him, all of which went to waste due to the cancelation.

He has since returned to the tour and is set to perform at the Neal S Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, HI, on Friday before heading to Hollywood, California, on Tuesday for another show at Hollywood Improv (The Main Room).

Despite the massive success he's enjoyed so far in his career, Rife is keeping himself grounded as he shared a life lesson he picked up from fellow comedian Dave Chappelle.

Describing his packed schedule as "a nightmare in the best possible way," he noted that at some point in his life, he contemplated "quitting comedy, moving back to Ohio, and getting a normal job" but managed to stay put and has been heeding to a piece of advice from Chapelle.

"Dave Chappelle actually gave me this advice, he said, on this tour, 'Make sure you're still making time to live your life. Because that's where the material comes from,'" Rife shared, adding that although thinking about work is important, "you have to create; you have to still have your personal life."
