Former President Donald Trump has decided to use President Joe Biden's "disastrous" moments during the 2024 Presidential debate against him for a new campaign.
Trump, 78, and Biden, 81, faced off in their first debate since 2020 on Thursday, but rather than giving Americans hope for the future, the two brought more fear and concerns.
During the 90-minute event, despite not being perfect, the former President redirected focus from himself to Biden's missteps in an effort to sway voters to support him instead.
Joe Biden Gets Blasted Following 2024 Presidential Debate
Throughout the 2024 Presidential debate, Americans couldn't help but comment on Joe Biden's consistent missteps and halting as they fear he is too old to be the President.
For those who didn't tune in, at the start of the debate, Biden not only drifted from tax policies to health policies, he mistakenly used the word "COVID," followed by “excuse me, with, dealing with,” and trailed off again.
He said he was committed to "making sure we make every single solitary person eligible for what I've been able to do with the COVID, excuse me, with, umm dealing with everything we had to do with," before pausing for several seconds.
Donald Trump Uses Joe Biden's Actions Against Him
Following the 2024 Presidential debate, Donald Trump shared a video on his Instagram page, which featured a compilation of Joe Biden stuttering and losing his train of thought during the event.
After watching the clip, many Americans expressed their thoughts, wondering why people are still voting for him. "This is not even funny anymore. This man belongs in bed at five o'clock," one of Trump's followers said.
"I've never seen a president screw things up so badly," another expressed.
"Can you believe people are still voting and supporting this walking geriatric case," a third American wrote as another said, "A vote for Biden is a vote to weaken USA in order to topple it. Sadly, most Dems want that. They hate our anthem, our founding fathers, our amendments, women, and our borders."

"This is just sad listening to him, the old fella needs to sit on a lake and relax," one Instagram user said.
"Please move into an old folks' home, Biden. You can’t form a sentence; it’s embarrassing," another wrote.
"It was actually sad to watch, but our country comes first," a third expressed.
Meanwhile, another user chimed in, "This makes me very very sad as an American. This who works leaders see as running our country."
Joe Biden Suffers Loss Following Debate
According to a CNN poll of those who watched the debate on Thursday, 63% of debate watchers think Trump performed better, compared to 37% who thought Biden won.
Plus, 85% of GOP viewers believed that Trump adequately addressed concerns raised during the debate, while 53% of Biden supporters felt he performed better on these issues.
As far as Republican viewers go, 96% expressed that Trump did a better job, compared to 69% of Democratic viewers who felt Biden won.
Jay Surdukowski, an attorney and Democratic activist from New Hampshire said, “Biden is toast — calling it now."
Should Joe Biden Step Down?
Following the Thursday night showdown, Democrats are now debating if they should replace Biden as their top candidate -- However, that's not as easy as it may sound. Democrats can only consider selecting a new nominee if Biden chooses to withdraw, a decision he has consistently rejected.
“Folks, the facts are if Joe Biden was going to step aside, he would have done so a long time ago,” Symone Sanders, a former aide to Vice President Kamala Harris said, per The New York Times. “That’s not my opinion, that’s literally the facts. So no, he won’t be stepping aside tomorrow morning."
"He’s the nominee, and a number of Dems I suspect will be out defending him over the next few days," she added.
Vice President Kamala Harris spoke out an hour after the debate, telling CNN’s Anderson Cooper, “It was a slow start, that’s obvious to everyone. I’m not going to debate that point. I’m talking about the choice in November. I’m talking about one of the most important elections in our collective lifetime. And do we want to look at what November will bring and go on a course for America that is about a destruction of democracy?”
