Phil Spector's daughter, Nicole Spector, has filed an emergency petition with a Los Angeles Court to manage and control her late father's Estate.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Nicole Spector also wants to confirm with the court that she may be granted control of any future, newly discovered assets held in Phil Spector's name. Another reason for the newly filed petition is to finalize the sale of Phil Spector's Alhambra, California home, which already had a prospective buyer.

Nicole Spector claims the contract for the sale of the home was not finished before her father passed away last month. She also claims she is the Trustee of Phil Spector's Trust and Phil is the owner of 50% of the real property. We previously reported, in Phil Spector and ex-wife Rachelle Spector, per their divorce settlement, had to sell his infamous residence, Pyrenees Castle, in Alhambra, CA with a 50/50 split. The house was listed for $5.5 million.

The Wall of Sound creator's daughter, Nicole, claims there was already a sale price for the home of $3.3 million and she wants a judge to authorize her to execute the final sale so there can be a close of escrow.

In Phil Spector's 2016 Trust, also obtained by The Blast, Phil chose to omit his adopted sons as well as his ex-wife from the Trust. His only biological child, Nicole Spector, was chosen to serve as successor Trustee if he did not survive Nicole. Phil Spector listed several items in his Trust. He listed John Lennon's electric guitar, Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year award for 1972, "The Concert for Bangladesh" with George Harrison and Ravi Shankar, an Oscar statue for The Beatles 1970 film, "Let It Be," which won Best Original Song Score. Spector produced the album, diamond cufflinks gifted by Elvis Presley, and 1965 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud lll, to name a few.

In 2009, Phil Spector was found guilty of murder in the second degree of actress Lana Clarkson. Donna Clarkson, actress Lana Clarkson's mother, was listed as an interested party to serve notice for the filing of Phil Spector's Trust and Nicole's Spector's petition to gain control of her late father's Estate.

Phil Spector, who was a well-known music producer and the creator of the Wall of Sound, died in a prison hospital on January 16, 2021. It was reported that his daughter Nicole attributed his death to complications of COVID-19, after being diagnosed in December 2020.
