Jennifer Lopez's latest travel picture has everyone talking, but Sunny Hostin sees it as a down-to-earth move.

The co-host on "The View" weighed in on Lopez's recent decision to fly economy, finding it a refreshing reminder of her humble roots despite her global superstar status. 

Others might be seeing the economy fly from a financial angle, but Sunny Hostin believes Jennifer Lopez is still "Jenny from the block."

Hostin recently commended Lopez for her down-to-earth demeanor, applauding the superstar for choosing commercial air travel despite her A-list status.

While Lopez would typically enjoy the luxuries of private jets, recent photos showed her seated comfortably in a window seat aboard an Air France flight. 

Speaking to the press outside ABC Studios in NYC, Hostin expressed admiration for the singer maintaining her "Jenny from the Block" persona.

"I thought it humanized her. We've all flown coach. I still fly coach," Hostin told TMZ. She also noted that despite flying in economy class, Lopez had her bodyguard and herpurse,occupying an entire row.

At the same time, the TV personality disagreed with the notion that Lopez opted for commercial travel to appear more relatable.

"I don't think so. I think she's Jenny From the Block," the morning show co-host asserted, emphasizing Lopez's authenticity in staying connected to her roots.

ICYMI, Lopez chose a surprisingly understated mode of travel over the weekend. The Blast reported that the mother-of-two was spotted on an economy flight from Naples, Italy, to Paris, France, where she attended Men's Fashion Week.

Lopez traveled comfortably in a white tracksuit on the 2-hour-and-20-minute KLM flight. Accompanied by her bodyguard, who occupied the aisle seat, the 54-year-old opted for a window seat to ensure some privacy during her trip.

Notably, she also managed to secure an additional seat for her bag, a move that reportedly cost €134, demonstrating her commitment to convenience even while flying economy.

Despite the speculation, Lopez appears to be embracing self-care following the cancellation of her scheduled tour. Sources close to Lopez shared that she decided to vacation in Europe to escape recent stresses and enjoy a change of scenery.

"Jen loves vacationing in Europe during the summer. It's been nice for her to experience a change of pace and have some breathing room," the source revealed. They added:

"She has been having a blast with her friends, enjoying fun dinners, late nights, sunbathing, dressing up, dancing, and shopping."

According to the insider, many of these activities differed from Affleck's preferences.

Despite recent reported setbacks, Lopez's commitment to her creative endeavors remains unwavering. The Blast noted that the dancer secured a new series deal with a major streaming platform.

Lopez, through her production company Nuyorican, finalized the deal to adapt Emily Henry's novel, "Happy Place," for television.

Deadline reported that preparations to develop the novel "as a series are underway," with producers and streaming executives actively meeting with writers.

The series, produced by Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, and Benny Medina, narrates the tale of Harriet and Wyn, former college sweethearts who quietly ended their relationship.

Five months after their breakup, they unexpectedly find themselves sharing a bedroom at the Maine Cottage, where they have been attending an annual retreat with friends for the past decade.

Now, they must maintain the facade of being apart while hiding their true relationship status from their friends.

Jennifer Lopez Announced Netflix Project Following Tour Cancellation

The "Maid in Manhattan" actress' Netflix project followed the cancellation of her tour, which Live Nation announced in late May. 

At the time, Lopez expressed her deep regret to fans through her newsletter, OntheJLo, apologizing for the cancellation, which she deemed unavoidable.

"I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary," the star wrote to her fans. 

She continued, "I promise I will make it up to you, and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…"
