Halsey is back in the spotlight for her first red carpet-appearance since announcing her lupus diagnosis.
The "Without Me" hitmaker, who uses she/they pronouns, attended the premiere of her new movie "MaXXXine" in a retro-glam ensemble. She was all smiles, posing with her co-stars while flaunting her numerous tattoos in the sizzling outfit
The outing comes weeks after Halsey opened up about her health struggles earlier this month, depicting her journey in the titular track of her upcoming fifth studio album, "The End."
Halsey Channels 80s Glam For Red Carpet Appearance
Halsey brought nostalgia to the red carpet event for "MaXXXine" at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday, June 24. As seen in the red carpet pictures, she channeled 80s glam, giving off a younger Cher vibe in a sequined gold number that showed off her stunning figure.
The sparkling outfit featured a sleeveless mermaid crop top and a matching skirt designed with cutouts at the hips, giving the illusion of a thong. The ab-bearing piece drew attention to Halsey's toned stomach, especially the body art on her waistline.
More tattoos graced Halsey's body, with several on their shoulder, arms, and under their cleavage. They completed their retro glam with Cher's signature hairstyle by donning a voluminous, black, curly wig that cascaded down their shoulders.
For their makeup, the 29-year-old donned gold eyeshadow, sultry cat eyes, and glossy pink lipstick. They accessorized with gold chandelier earrings, bracelets, and multiple rings.
Halsey Brought High Energy To The Movie Premiere
In the pictures, Halsey appeared in good spirits as she posed for the cameras with a bright smile. She gave off several sexy poses, drawing attention to her figure-hugging ensemble by placing her hands on her hips.
The high energy radiating from the singer continued in her pictures with co-stars, looking like a seasoned model snuggled between Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Debicki, and Moses Sumney.
Halsey also posed with Lily Collins, who sported a daring ensemble with gold jewelry for a top. The "MaXXXine" cast were all smiles, no doubt excited about the premiere of the A24 film.
All About Halsey's New Movie 'MaXXXine'
The "Gasoline" singer's new movie, "MaXXXine," is the third installment in the X thriller franchise. It follows the actress Mia Goth as Maxine and Halsey as the character Tabby, with the film's synopsis reading:
"In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past."
"MaXXXine" was announced at the world premiere of its prequel " Pearl" at the Venice International Film Festival in September 2022. A24 shared a first-look photo in May 2023 that captured Goth and Halsey in '80s ensembles while walking down a Hollywood street at night.

As stated, Halsey's red carpet appearance comes weeks after they revealed their hidden health struggles in the first track from their upcoming fifth studio album.
The Blast reported they dropped the lyric video to the song "The End" on YouTube, with the emotional words reading:
"Every couple of years now, a doctor says I'm sick / Pulls out a brand new bag of tricks / And then they lay it on me / And at first, it was my brain, then a skeleton in pain / And I don't like to complain, but I'm saying sorry."
The haunting song continued with Halsey singing about their trauma, "f–ked up childhood," and how they hoped they would recover from their illness with love. However, the concluding lyrics revealed the health battle continued with the words:
"But the joke was always mine 'cause I'm racing against time/ And I know it's not the end of the world, but could you pick me up at 8?/'Cause my treatment starts today."
Halsey Was Diagnosed With Lupus
Halsey shared more details about her health on Instagram, dropping a carousel of videos that depicted her emotional health journey. The compilation depicted emotional turmoil amid her treatments and the behind-the-scenes process of "The End's" production.
"Long story short, I'm Lucky to be alive. Short story long, I wrote an album. It begins with The End," she captioned the post. In a separate update, she finally revealed why her health had declined in a lengthy message.
"In 2022, I was first diagnosed with Lupus SLE and then a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder," Halsey penned, noting that her health had significantly improved with treatments.
However, it wasn't a permanent solution, as Halsey would likely have these conditions for the rest of her life. For now, her illness was "currently being managed or in remission."
