Addison Rae Talks About TikTok

When asked about her journey on TikTok, Addison reflected on her early days with a blend of naivety and fearlessness. She shared, "I think in the beginning I was so naive and fearless, and that was a pretty nice combination to have stepping into it all, because I was willing to experiment."

Addressing perceptions of being labeled just a "TikToker," she expressed her initial confusion, saying, "People wanted to say, 'Oh, she's just a TikToker.' Which to me didn’t make sense, because I was like, 'What even is that?' Do people grow up and say, 'I want to be a TikToker?' Maybe nowadays, but I grew up dancing, and TikTok was just a through line."

Addison emphasized that her interest in TikTok was a natural extension of her background in dance, and she always had broader aspirations, including exploring acting and other interests she developed while growing up.
