Mariah Carey is Team Clinton and isn’t afraid to shout it from the rooftops.
Mariah shared a recent photo showing her posing with the former Democratic nominee during Barbra Streisand‘s show at Madison Square Garden on Saturday.
Saying it was “an honor to see President Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton,” Mariah continued by thanking the two politicians for “everything you have done and continue to do for our country.”
The singer also shared a photo showing her with Bill Clinton.
Although the photos were taken on Saturday, it appears Mariah was taking a direct shot at President Donald Trump following a weekend of massacre.
Earlier in the day, before Babs’ show, shots rang out at an El Paso, Texas Walmart killing 22 people.
On Sunday, the world woke up to another shooting in Ohio which killed 9 people.
So, far the death toll is 31.
Following the shootings, Mariah Carey shared a quote by Martin Luther King, Jr. reading, “Nonviolence means avoiding not only external physical violence but also internal violence of spirit. You not only refuse to shoot a man, but you refuse to hate him.”
“This must stop,” Mariah wrote. “For the sake of our children. Enough.”
Barbra Streisand also gushed over the Clintons following her show.
Posting a picture with the former President and First Lady, Streisand wrote, “So honored this brilliant couple attended my concert in New York. The only President in the last 50 years to leave our country with a budget surplus.”
She continued, “He also banned assault weapons, which the Republicans then overturned.”
