Lamar Odom Defends New Girlfriend After Being Accused of Comparing Her to Khloé Kardashian

Lamar Odom must be serious about his new trainer girlfriend because he's speaking up in her honor after being accused of comparing her to Khloé Kardashian.

The former NBA star held hands with fitness guru Sabrina Parr during date night at Craig's in West Hollywood on Friday, and hours later, slammed haters on social media who dragged his ex into his new relationship.

Making their way past photographers as the shutterbugs flashed away, Odom made sure to keep a tight grip on his romance as he guided Parr to their awaiting car.

Parr, who's a personal trainer, looked fantastic for her big debut wearing a snakeskin jumpsuit and clear heels.

Odom kept it cool for date night in dark jeans, a stripped blue shirt and his white kicks.

Khloé's ex husband is used to being in the spotlight, but Parr is new to the Hollywood game.

Their romantic Italian date comes just hours after Odom announced his new relationship to the public.

Posting a snap showing Parr on his lap and holding his hand sweetly, Odom wrote, "What we have is much more than they can see."

Odom defended his relationship with Parr after posting a few sexy shots of his girl with a caption that many thought was directed at Khloé.

Quoting Malcolm X, he wrote, “It’s just like when you’ve got some coffee that’s too black, which means it’s too strong, what do you do? You integrate it with cream…"

He continued, "But if you pour too much cream in it, you won’t even know you ever had coffee. It used to be hot, it becomes cool. It used to be strong, it becomes weak. It used to wake you up, now it puts you to sleep.”

Odom slammed the idea he was comparing Parr to Khloé and cleared the air on Saturday morning.

"I'm a bit disappointed to read that people are using my words to enforce their own perceptions and assumptions pointing towards things that just are not MY TRUTH OR REALITY," Odom began.

"This post isn’t against anyone including my ex wife that I still respect deeply. I am just PRO love," he added.

Instead of overthinking the naysayers, the former NBA star is sending positive thoughts Khloé's way.

"I am now deciding to send them and my NEW WOMAN a lot of love. My post goes out to the new leading woman in my life, that I’m gonna tell everyday how beautiful she is, from the inside out."

He ends by thanking Parr for "teaching me what real self value means. It changed my entire mindset."
