Carrie Underwood Wows Dripping Wet In Daisy Dukes In Pouring Rain

Carrie Underwood today proved that nothing will stop her — and that includes a massive downpour. On Monday, the 40-year-old country music queen updated her Instagram with footage from her latest performance, one seeing her on an outdoor stage and driving the crowd wild as she got absolutely soaked during a rain shower. Showing off her killer legs as she wore her signature Daisy Dukes, Carrie for her audience singing along to her "Before He Cheats" track, and nobody could deny how atmospheric the footage was. Fans rushed to comment, also leaving the American Idol winner over 40,000 likes in just one hour.

Scroll for the video. Making her way out toward the crowd and with hundreds of raving fans supporting her, Carrie delivered her power vocals against a backdrop of noisy rain, and she was pretty much already soaked at the start of the footage.

Flaunting her world-famous legs in a thigh-skimming pair of denim cut-offs, the mom of two highlighted her gym-honed arms in a sleeveless top, sticking to cowboy booties in silver for a Western finish and wearing her dripping-wet hair down.

While the above photo showed off Carrie's outfit, the video showed her spirit. Undeterred by the rain and proving she isn't a diva, the "Cry Pretty" hitmaker made it rain with her voice, and the crowd couldn't help but sing along. Carrie also made a mention of the rain in a caption to the still photos, using rain and umbrella emoji as she wrote: "Well, last night sure was fun! And though the ending was quite unexpected, it made for a night we’ll never forget!"

Meanwhile, the video came captioned: "We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a massive downpour stop us, either!"

Fans went wild in the comments. Over 600 have now liked a reply praising Carrie Underwood for her rain-soaked performance.

"That is what a real performer is. They sing in the rain if they had to. Way to go Carrie," they wrote. "The woman is a PERFORMER," another wrote, with a third saying: "Can we also send some love to the band who kept playing through the rain? The drummer… guitarists… that’s ROUGH and I’m guessing they fought through it, too!!! Way to go, y’all." Carrie's photos and videos both came from her Myrtle Beach, SC performance.
