Amid claims from insiders that "a divorce is imminent" between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, TMZhas revealed that the Hollywood power couple has already hired a realtor to help them sell the home they share.

Lopez and Affleck hired Santiago Arana from The Agency, who has allegedly been "showing the house for around two weeks" with no buyer in sight yet. The timing also aligns with the period the divorce rumors about the couple began swirling.

According to the news outlet, Lopez and Affleck are asking for "around $65 million" for the massive property. However, this would mean that they would suffer a loss due to the amount spent improving the home and other costs, such as the broker's commission.

Earlier this week, it was reported that photos of the couple's home surfaced on the real estate site Zillow, which already indicated their intention to sell the house.

A source told In Touch that the couple experienced a rough patch, which led to Affleck moving out of their $60 million home as they "just couldn't make it work."

The actor has since been staying at a house in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. He allegedly "decided to call it quits" on their marriage and has been focusing on his new movie, "The Accountant 2."

"The writing is on the wall – it's over," the source stated, adding, "They're headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben's] not to blame!"

"He's focusing on his work and his kids now," the insider went on. "Ben already moved out, and they'll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for."

"They'll never stop loving each other, but she can't control him, and he can't change her. There's no way it could have lasted," they added.

A source who spoke to The Sun explained Lopez's decision to hire experts for professional advice: "She'd love to save things, but if she can't, she's vowed to at least come out on top."

On Wednesday, the 54-year-old superstar appeared to send a message to her detractors, acknowledging that "there's a lot of negativity out in the world right now."

"But don't let the voices of a few drown out that there is soooo much love out there," she wrote in her OntheJLo newsletter. "Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love you all so much."

At the time, a statement about the decision read: "Representatives for Live Nation announced today that the Jennifer Lopez US Summer 2024 Tour THIS IS ME...LIVE is canceled. Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends."

It continued: "For those who purchased through Ticketmaster, tickets will automatically be refunded – there is nothing further fans need to do. For those who purchased via third-party resale sites such as SeatGeek, StubHub, VividSeats, etc. – please reach out to your point of purchase for more details."

A source also informed the DailyMail that Lopez was disappointed to cancel the tour, which was performing well in terms of sales, but felt the need to prioritize her family life at this moment.

"She's taking time off to be with family and close friends," the source said, noting that despite frequent rehearsals and her readiness to commit, she felt it was time for a break.

"This was a very difficult decision made by Jennifer this week and she's sorry to her fans," the source added.
