Sydney Sweeney Becomes Proud Owner Of A Luxurious $13M Oceanfront South Florida Mansion

Sydney Sweeney has broken the bank for a luxury real estate property in southern Florida. Sweeney acquired the stunning oceanfront mansion for a whopping $13 million, and it comes with unique and luxurious amenities that she'll be sure to revel in as she spends more time in the sunshine state.

The actress previously shared her hopes of becoming successful so that she could afford a house for her divorced parents when she turned 18.

Sydney Sweeney's new acquisition is the third in her real estate portfolio; she already owns two Los Angeles properties.

According to reports, the "Euphoria" actress has finalized a deal to purchase a breathtaking oceanfront mansion in South Florida.

The impressive property, which she paid $13.4 million to acquire, boasts breathtaking views of the  Ocean as well as lush greenery, including a boat ramp and boat lifts.

Sweeney's new home is over 7,000 square feet and features state-of-the-art amenities, such as a heated and chilled infinity pool with a swim-up bar complete with underwater barstools, a chef's kitchen, a wine room, an elevator, a home gym, and a game room.

Her latest acquisition comes as no surprise, as reports previously claimed that she'll be spending more time in Florida in the coming days. Hence, the need to buy a home befitting a top actress.

The "White Lotus" actress showed off her taste and penchant for luxury as she went far and beyond to acquire the massive South Florida property.

According to the Daily Mail, the mansion, which was built in 2015, has a main house and guest house that is connected by a covered breezeway. It features 19-foot-tall cathedral ceilings and custom 10-foot-tall mahogany doors that open to the backyard for her to enjoy the ocean view.

It also boasts a total of six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half baths- half in the main house and half in the guest house, as well as three sets of washers and dryers, with exquisite appliances throughout.

Sweeney is already settling into her new neighborhood. She was in Florida for a housewarming party over Memorial Day weekend and was spotted grabbing a cup of java at a local shop.

She's also the owner of two Los Angeles mansions, which she'll reportedly be keeping.

The "Anyone But You" star's love for acquiring properties is well documented, especially if it involves keeping fond familial memories.

Sweeney revealed on a 2023 episode of "The Kelly Clarkson Show" that she bought back her great-grandmother's house after her family was forced to sell it due to financial constraints.

"My great-grandma had this beautiful house, two bedroom, cute house that they lived in. My grandma was born in it. My mom was born in it, and then as the kids got older, they built on the property another home. And when my great-grandpa passed away, and my great-grandma got old, they just couldn't afford to keep it anymore," she shared.

Sweeney further told Clarkson that she "called up [the realty company], and I said I want to buy my great-grandmother's house back."

"And so it's really cool, too; my granny still lives in the house next door. So I'm neighbors with my granny now," she added.

Sweeney's home purchase comes as she prepares to play Boxer Christy Martin in a new biopic. The role is expected to see Sweeney train to morph into an onscreen version of Martin.

She has already shared her readiness to star as the famous female boxer, telling Deadline that she loves to "challenge" herself for what she expects to be a "physically and emotionally" demanding role.

"I grappled and did kickboxing from 12-19 years old. I've been itching to get back into the ring, train, and transform my body. Christy's story isn't a light one, it's physically and emotionally demanding, and there's a lot of weight to carry. But I love challenging myself," she said.

Martin expressed her gratitude that Sweeney would be portraying her in the upcoming film, revealing that she had no involvement in the casting decision.

"I think she is young, hot, talented, and about to make a movie that in 20+ years, fathers will watch with their daughters to make them aware of domestic violence," Martin said, per TMZ.

The boxing icon added that she would be contributing to Sweeney's training, particularly to enhance her left hook technique.
