Sean "Diddy" Combs has been in the news lately due to sexual assault lawsuits filed against him, coupled with a 2016 surveillance footage that saw him physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura.

According to a recent report documenting statements from the hip-hop mogul's former friends, acquaintances, employees, and associates, Diddy has been abusive for over 30 years now.

A new report has emerged from several individuals who alleged that Diddy had been in the acts of abusing women and engaging in violence long before he gained mainstream notoriety.

According to Rolling Stone, sources, including his former friends, acquaintances, employees, Bad Boy artists, and industry insiders, claimed that the "Bad Boy for Life" rapper has been using his power in the music industry and celebrity status to cover his tracks.

The report dates Diddy's alleged sexually abusive nature to his Howard University days, before his music career started, with women who knew him then claiming he had abusive tendencies.

He was known for his ambitious personality and had a reputation for throwing good parties on campus. However, several alleged witnesses recounted an incident where he assaulted a young woman, flogging her with a belt outside her dorm room.

Another witness told the news outlet that Diddy, then known as "Puff," used what looked like a belt to whip the woman "all over the place" as others tried to intervene. The witness said he "whupped her butt — like really whupped her butt."

The music mogul's alleged sexual assault and violence reportedly spiraled into his phase as a music star after dropping out of Howard to join Uptown Records.

Several of his accusers alleged that Diddy's encounters with them bordered on drug abuse, physical assault, and sexual assault, just to mention a few.

One Joi Dickerson-Neal alleged that Diddy spiked her drink in 1991 after agreeing to go on a date with him in 1991.

She filed in a lawsuit that he raped her at a close by location and filmed moments of the vile act, which he showed to others "like a trophy."

Another of his accusers, Liza Gardner, claimed in a lawsuit that she was 16 when he forced her to drink and raped her in 1990 after meeting at a MCA Records event in Manhattan. Gardner also claimed that Diddy's then-label mate Aaron Hall also raped her as she was getting dressed following the first assault.

Diddy has denied both allegations, calling Dickerson-Neal's claims "false, offensive, and salacious."

In another lawsuit against him, one April Lampros claimed Diddy attacked her at a parking lot and forced her to perform oral sex on him, noting that it was one of four "horrific" times he assaulted her.

Many other sources documented that even when the victims tried to leave him, Diddy still found a way to contact them and try to control them.

The rapper recently made headlines for a 2016 surveillance footage that saw him physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie.

It comes after Cassie sued him in November last year, alleging that he trafficked, raped, drugged, and beat her over ten years. She also claimed in the now-settled $30 million lawsuit that she was forced to have sex with male prostitutes while Diddy filmed them.

The "We Ain't Goin' Nowhere" crooner has since apologized on his Instagram page, saying his actions were "inexcusable" and that he is taking "full responsibility" for them.

He added that he was "disgusted then when I did it" and is "disgusted now," but that he was "committed to be a better man each and every day," noting that he's "truly sorry."

Cassie also broke her silence after the video of Diddy assaulting her trended, thanking people for the love and support she's received.

She said, "Thank you for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers, and those I have yet to meet. The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning. Domestic Violence is THE issue."

The singer continued, "It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past. Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to take this matter seriously. My only ask is that EVERYONE open your heart to believing victims the first time. It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth out of a situation that you were powerless in.

Concluding her post, the singer said, "I offer my hand to those that are still living in fear. Reach out to your people, don't cut them off. No one should carry this weight alone. This healing journey is never ending, but this support means everything to me. Thank you. Love Always, Cassie."
