In 2022, Peter Rosza and Conor Woulfe, two devoted fans, filed a lawsuit against Universal Pictures. They alleged that the company had included the actress in a trailer for the 2019 movie “Yesterday” but subsequently removed her from the final film.
According to the lawsuit, Rosza and Woulfe claimed they had rented “Yesterday” for $3.99 after seeing De Armas in the trailer, only to find her character absent from the movie.
