Ben Affleck Has Allegedly Woken Up From 'Fever Dream' Marriage To Jennifer Lopez Amid Split Rumors

Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's marriage is allegedly heading for divorce. According to an insider, Affleck woke up from their "fever dream" romance shortly after Lopez liked an Instagram post about how people can't build healthy relationships.

The actor has allegedly also been house hunting while he stays separately from Lopez. Despite the rumors, the two film stars have put up a united front and attended several recent events together, including a visit to Soho House and a movie event with their kids.

A source recently revealed to Page Six that the "Gone Girl" actor has "come to his senses" and accepted that he and the "The Wedding Planner" star are on the path to a divorce.

The source said, "If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would. He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he's come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work."

The rumors of trouble between Lopez and Affleck started when she attended the recently held 2024 Met Gala solo.

Her solo appearance was controversial because they've made most outings since their marriage together, and Lopez was one of the co-chairs of the exclusive fashion and charity event.

After the solo Met Gala appearance, the rumors received heavy fuel, prompting fans to realize that Lopez and Affleck had not been photographed out together in over a month.

Shortly after the divorce rumors began spreading, Affleck and Lopez made a public outing to his child Fin's school play last week.

However, after that outing, Lopez added more fuel to the fire by liking an Instagram post about unhealthy relationships.

The post, shared by relationship coach Lenna Marsak, discussed the various personality traits in partners that prevent people from building healthy relationships with them.

Marsak wrote that people "cannot build a healthy relationship with someone who lacks integrity & emotional safety."

She added more qualities, such as someone who "does not respect others' time, lacks effective communication skills, and doesn't know who they are or what they want."

Sources close to Lopez and Affleck revealed to Page Six that he's been house hunting in the Los Angeles area.

The couple have also reportedly been living separately, primarily because Affleck is staying at another property while he's filming "The Accountant 2." This is presumably because of his busy schedule, which involves going to and from the film set.

There have also been rumors that Lopez is house hunting, but an insider told People she's just looking at options for an investment property.

Another insider revealed that Affleck and Lopez are so off track that they didn't celebrate the recent Mother's Day together. This is just another sign that the star couple may be heading down the separation path.

Affleck and Lopez have put up a united front since the divorce rumors started swirling by making several outings together. This included a weekend outing to the Soho House, where Affleck, who wore his wedding ring, looked frustrated as they walked through a parking garage to access the elevator.

Earlier that day, Affleck and Lopez also attended a movie event with their kids. The "Good Will Hunting" star was photographed with his wife in the passenger seat of his car.

Affleck's phone's screen was also visible in some photos, and it showed the actor receiving a call from "Jennifer Affleck," which seemed odd due to their close proximity.

Affleck and Lopez first dated from 2002 to 2004 after meeting and falling in love on the set of their 2003 movie "Gigli."

After initially ending their engagement in 2004, the couple reconciled in 2021 and finally eloped in Las Vegas in 2022.

After their low-key Vegas wedding, Affleck and Lopez had a grand and star-studded wedding a month later with their friends and family present.
