What Led To Amber Portwood Allegedly Attacking Andrew Glennon With A Machete

The story of Amber Portwood allegedly using a machete to attack Andrew Glennon has revealed many layers.

"Teen Mom OG" star Amber Portwood was arrested July 5 and charged with felony domestic battery after an altercation with Andrew Glennon in which she allegedly used a machete to try to break a door down.

Court documents say Glennon was holding their son, James, 14 months, during the attack. During a hearing last Wednesday, a no-contact order was granted against her.

According to Glennon:

Portwood "picked up a machete towards him and [the baby]. Mr. Glennon stated he locked himself and [the baby] into the office ... Mr. Glennon stated she hit the door with the machete and kicked the door and broke the handle. Mr. Glennon stated that is when he called for help."

Portwood was bailed out of jail on July 6.

Sources say the fight between the two wasn't just a simple spat:

“There were things going on between her and Andrew that led to this.”
