“American Horror Story: 1984” will be without one of the show’s most important cast members.
It’s been reported that Sarah Paulson won’t play any significant role in “American Horror Story: 1984,” though she’s previously appeared in all eight seasons.
Paulson’s acting has not gone unnoticed in the anthology series — she’s garnered five Emmy nominations for playing various roles in “American Horror Story.”
She was seen in only three episodes in Season 1. A cameo appearance in “1984” may not be out of the question, though.
Her scant appearance in “American Horror Story: 1984” may be due to schedule constraints. Right now she’s filming FX’s “Mrs. America,” which deals with the Equal Rights Amendment.
In addition, she’s working with AHS co-creator and producer Ryan Murphy on the series “Ratched,” which is based on the “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” character Nurse Ratched.
