The first image captured the former convict in a wheelchair, wearing polka-dot pajama pants, a blue top, and a pink hoodie. She matched the cozy ensemble with a pink beanie and held two stuffed toys while beaming brightly at the camera.

While this snap seemed innocent, the back story wasn't, as 18-year-old Blanchard was still suffering from her mother's Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy.

The difference between her smile in the then-and-now post was evident, as she looked better than ever in the second image.

Blanchard flaunted her new self in a sleeveless black top as she lay on a bed, looking radiant in a glammed-up face. She rocked her honey-blonde hair in elegant waves and posed with the arm housing her matching tattoo with her rekindled beau, Ken Urker.

Blanchard chose the perfect soundtrack to accompany her then-and-now post, using Alessia Cara's hit self-love anthem "Scars to Your Beautiful." She also noted that her trip down memory was to raise awareness about Munchausen by proxy.

As for the post's caption, the media personality wrote: "Stay positive, there is always hope [heart emoji]." Her words received positive responses from fans, who applauded her inspiring journey.

One TikTok user chimed, "I can not tell you how happy I am for you Gypsy Rose." Another supporter echoed: "I am glad she made it out. That must have been so tough."
