Tamar Braxton’s Estranged Husband Vince Herbert Accused of Refusing to Pay $380,000 Debt

Tamar Braxton’s estranged husband Vince Herbert allegedly refuses to show up to court or pay a $380,000 debt, and is close to being found in contempt of court.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, LDNX Records is demanding a judge find Herbert in contempt for failing to turn over financial information, despite being served with a subpoena.

The record company is owed $380,000 from Vince Herbert stemming from a previous lawsuit. They have been trying to collect on the money for over a year. They have gotten creative and attempted to get records to see if Herbert was owed money from famous artists he worked with including Lady Gaga and Remy Ma.

The company wants Herbert to be ordered to answer questions about his income and assets. They also want to seize money from his Wells Fargo bank account.

In the docs, the company points out Herbert also owes Sony Music over $3.7 million stemming from a separate lawsuit. They fear Herbert is using his label Streamline Records to hide money from them and his creditors.

The company is asking the court for a restraining order prohibiting Streamline from transferring any assets.

A judge will have to decide if Herbert will be held in contempt.

Last year, the company filed court docs explaining they have been trying to collect on $380k owed to them by Vince Herbert and demanded the music exec be found in contempt of court, along with Lady Gaga, Remy Ma, and Interscope Records.

The music company won a judgment against Vince in 2017 after suing him over a business deal gone south. They claim to have not been paid a dime from Vince and are trying to figure out the sources of his income, so they can seize the money until the $380k is satisfied.

LDNX accused Gaga, Remy and the record label of failing to provide complete and accurate answers to the information they demanded from the subpoena. LDNX demanded sanctions against Gaga and Vince, along with Remy.

Gaga eventually turned over the requested information and they are no longer seeking sanctions or contempt against her. Remy was found in contempt of court at one point for failing to hand over the documents and was ordered to immediately hand them over or face more consequences.

The rapper recently finally answered the subpoena and provided information about Herbert’s finances and money paid to him. The information then helped LDNX locate a Wells Fargo bank account that Herbert had they weren’t aware of previously.
