And while he's met her many times and often receives gifts from her, an interview is something he would absolutely love to do!
Perez Hilton Would Love To Interview This Celebrity!
The entertainment blogger, known for spilling the tea on celebrity gossip and news for the past 20 years, has interviewed tons and tons of big names. But there's one celebrity he's met many times but has never gotten the chance to interview that he would love to!
"I'd love to interview Taylor Swift because she's on top of the world right now and I'm a huge fan and also, I've been a part of her journey and she's been a part of mine," Hilton told The Blast exclusively.
"I would also love to interview her because she’s really become reclusive. I don’t even know the last interview that she’s given. It’s been an incredibly long time."
Hilton said if he gets the opportunity to interview Swift, he knows all the right questions to ask her. But he's not expecting this will happen anytime soon because she "hasn't done an interview in a long time."
Perez Hilton And Taylor Swift's Friendship Goes Way Back!
Believe it or not, Hilton and Swift go way back to her high school days.
Around 2007 or 2008, the magazine Blender, which doesn't exist anymore, had Swift on the cover and an article about her inside.
"I remember vividly in the article because remember, she started when she was still in high school, and she was asked who she wanted to take to prom and her answer was Perez Hilton," he shared. "I was like, great answer!"
Hilton said he always knew there was something "special about her" that went beyond just music. He just knew she was going somewhere amazing with her talent.

Hilton recently shared a video on Instagram unboxing a gift he received from Swift. After opening the box, he briefly shared the story of Swift telling Blender magazine she wanted to take Hilton to prom.
And that's not the first time Hilton has gotten a thoughtful gift from Swift.
"Two of my most cherished possessions here in my house are this platinum plaque Taylor Swift gifted me when one of her albums debuted to over a million in the first week," he shared.
"And then when my son was born in 2013, she handmade me a present which was this little ukulele. She painted it and wrote a sweet message on it and sent it to me as a gift. That was the kind of person she is - incredibly thoughtful and detailed and strategic and smart and kind and amazing."
There's Another Celebrity Perez Hilton Would Like To Interview
Hilton also said he would love to get the chance to interview Angelina Jolie. In fact, he said she's "tied to my story."
"I've never met, but always had such an affinity for Angelina Jolie," he told The Blast. "I, Perez Hilton, was the one who coined the term 'Brangelina.'"
Jolie and Brad Pitt began dating around the time Hilton started in the celebrity entertainment business. He said no one else was doing what he was and he was "setting the trends and doing it all."
"I coined them, 'Brangelina.' I came up with 'Tomcat,'" he said. "I also was the first media outlet anywhere in the world to post pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina together as a couple. It was photos of them on vacation in Africa."
Perez Hilton Shared The Story Of How He Got Those First Photos Of 'Brangelina'
He went on to explain how it all happened for him, saying he "can share it now," and explaining that back in 2005, the paparazzi worked very differently from how it does now.
"The paparazzi agencies didn't have websites. The paparazzi agencies back in the early 2000s would email proofs or just straight-up photos to potential buyers. Buyers would look at them and they could offer," he explained. "If it was an exclusive photo, they could bid and the highest bigger would get the pictures."
A photo agency emailed photos of Pitt and Jolie to agencies all around the world.
"One of my sources was this person who worked at a British celebrity news magazine. Their magazine got outbid and wasn't going to run the photos but they still had the photos in high resolution and without a watermark," he continued. "So that friend of mine emailed me the photos and like I said, it was the wild, wild west and I didn't care if I wasn't supposed to be doing something. I did it anyway."
Hilton ended up sharing those photos and got an insane amount of traffic that crashed his website. It also got him tons of attention from the mainstream media.
"I don't do that anymore because I learned the hard way after a ton of lawsuits that you can't use paparazzi photos without paying the paparazzi," he said. "But the early 2000s were a different time."
