Morrissey claimed in the documents: "I believe this was largely the result of the fact that the payments had been put on an 'autopay' function within her account."

In her opinion, the payments go "against the express terms" of Williams and Hunter's settlement agreement, which stated that his payments would cease if her income was reduced to "less than 2 times her then yearly income (as of Feb. 1, 2020)."

The court documents state, "By holding on to the funds he was overpaid, he has interfered with [Williams'] right of possessions to those funds."

Williams was diagnosed with frontotemporal lobe dementia and aphasia in May 2023 after a prolonged battle with substance and alcohol abuse.

She notably reclined from the spotlight, prompting Lifetime to create a documentary tagged, "Where Is Wendy Williams?"

According to Page Six, in a previous court filing, Morrissey alleged that A+E Networks  "shamelessly exploits" Williams in the documentary.

The court filing showed Morrissey accuse the network of "humiliating" Williams by filming her "in an obviously disabled state," which "cruelly implies" that her "disoriented demeanor is due to substance abuse and intoxication."

She claimed that the media personality was coyly told the documentary would portray her "in a positive manner like a phoenix rising from the ashes."

"This blatant exploitation of a vulnerable woman with a serious medical condition who is beloved by millions within and outside of the African American community is disgusting, and it cannot be allowed," the filing read.
