Donald Trump rages about the gag order in his hush money trial, which prevents him from attacking witnesses linked to the case.

In his social media rant, the former president claimed that the presiding judge in the case, Judge Juan Merchan, hates him and that the whole trial is "election interference."

He also complained that the trial would seemingly prevent him from attending his young son's high school graduation after it was disclosed yesterday that it may run until Friday, May 17.

The 77-year-old took to his Truth Social platform this morning to vent about the gag order in his hush money trial. Trump is being tried for falsifying his business record to allegedly carry out a $130k payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Daniels claimed that he paid her ahead of the 2016 elections to buy her silence over an alleged affair they had after he married his wife, Melania.

"This conflicted, Trump-Hating Judge won't let me respond to people that are on TV lying and spewing hate all day long," Trump vented, per Radar Online.

The ex-president continued, "He is running roughshod over my lawyers and legal team. The New York System of 'Justice' is being decimated by critics from all over the World. I want to speak or at least be able to respond. Election Interference! RIGGED, UNCONSTITUTIONAL TRIAL! Take off the Gag Order!!!"

As he made his way into the courtroom this morning, Trump defended his case against the DA's assertion that the payments to Michael Cohen, his then-lawyer who reportedly carried out the payment to Daniels, were improperly tagged legal expenses.

It comes after Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg accused Trump of improperly labeling the money as legal expenses to Cohen to hide that the money was to repay the same amount paid to Daniels on the eve of the 2016 elections.

"I was paying a lawyer and I marked it down as a legal expense, some accountant," Trump told reporters, per ABC News. "I didn't know. That's exactly what it was."

"Legal expense -- that's what you're supposed to call it," he continued. "This is a trial that should never happen, it should have been thrown out."

After appearing for the commencement of trial in New York yesterday, the billionaire politician was notably unhappy about the case's impact outside the court.

Jury selection began yesterday, and the judge in charge revealed that the trial will likely last until May 17, when Trump's youngest son, Barron, graduates from high school.

"It looks like the judge will not let me go to the graduation of my son who's worked very, very hard," Trump lamented to a crowd of reporters outside of the courtroom.

"He's a great student and he's very proud of the fact he did so well and was looking forward for years to having his graduation with his mother and father there, and it looks like the judge isn't going to allow me to escape this scam," he added. "It's a scam trial."

Trump also called out Judge Merchan for preventing him from attending the upcoming Supreme Court trial related to the January 6 Capitol rioters.

The "Apprentice" alum branded Merchan a "conflicted" judge, decrying how he seems to be hindering him from attending to other matters.

"He's a very conflicted judge," he said of Judge Merchan. "He won't allow me to leave here for half a day to go to D.C. and go before the U.S. Supreme Court because he thinks he's superior, I guess, to the Supreme Court."

"We've got a real problem with this judge and a real problem with a lot of things having to do with this trial," he continued. "That I can't go to my son's graduation, that I can't go to the U.S. Supreme Court, that I'm not in Georgia or Florida or North Carolina campaigning like I should be...it's perfect for the radical-left Democrats."

"That's exactly what they want," Trump added. "This is about election interference, that's all it's about."

On Monday, before the commencement of his hush money trial, Trump took to Truth Social to blast President Joe Biden and the Department of Justice.

He wrote, "As virtually every legal scholar has powerfully stated, the Biden Manhattan Witch Hunt Case is, among other things, BARRED by the Statute of Limitations. This 'trial' should be ended by the highly conflicted presiding judge."

In another post, the ex-president told his supporters, "The Radical Left Democrats are already cheating on the 2024 Presidential Election by bringing or helping to bring, all of these bogus lawsuits against me, thereby forcing me to sit in courthouses and spend money that could be used for campaigning, instead of being out in the field knocking Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST president in the History of the United States. Election Interference!"

Trump added, "I want my VOICE back. This Crooked Judge has GAGGED me. Unconstitutional! The other side can talk about me, but I am not allowed to talk about them! Rigged Trial!"
