Aoki Lee Simmons Reportedly Splits From 65-Year-Old Restauranteur After Mom's Rage

The recent photos of Aoki Lee Simmons kissing her significantly older boyfriend, Vittorio Assaf, last week seemingly got her mother, Kimora Lee Simmons, riled up! 

Reports have now asserted that the flame between the lovebirds has died following the mama bear's outrage.

Insiders close to the situation have told US media that Aoki's days-long romance with Assaf has ended as quickly as it started. As one source stated, "It's 100% done. They're absolutely not dating." 

Before their alleged split, the 21-year-old repeatedly referred to the 65-year-old restaurateur as her "boyfriend" in the Instagram Live videos she shared from their romantic getaway in St. Barts.

Even though she beamed as she took followers on a tour of Assaf's property in the island country known for its white-sand beaches in one clip, one insider claimed that Aoki now sees things differently.

The informant disclosed to PageSix that she denied their relationship when they spoke to the Harvard University graduate on Monday. They claimed that Aoki said, "Of course, I'm not with him. I was never with him."

Yet another source, who has ties with Assaf, expressed similar sentiments about the couple's relationship, alleging that the Serafina Restaurant Group boss has "always loved younger beautiful women." They added:

"He's gotten older, but his taste hasn't changed. I wouldn't be surprised if he's out with another young girl tonight!"

Meanwhile, Kimora supposedly reacted to the initial news of her daughter's relationship with an Instagram video depicting a mother panda forcefully separating her cub with her teeth. 

Underneath the now-deleted reel, the 48-year-old wrote, "On my last nerve right now!"

Recall that Aoki and Assaf were spotted engaging in public displays of affection as they enjoyed the sensation of sand beneath their feet on the beach last week. 

During their time together, Aoki tested her older partner's photography skills, who snapped various poses of her with his phone. Per The Blast, the duo also enjoyed swimming in the crystal-clear blue water and shared an intimate kiss.

For the day out on the beach, Aoki wore an olive-green bikini with a tribal print on the front, and Assaf paired his bare chest with light blue and white-printed swim trunks. 

An inner circle member disclosed at the time, "Aoki and Vittorio are spending time together and enjoying each others' company."

Aoki previously made headlines for shutting down an internet troll who body-shamed her for sharing a picture of herself wearing a black outfit with a plunging neckline on Instagram. 

The second daughter of Kimora and her ex-husband Russell Simmons highlighted the commenter's remark and her response to it via her Instastories. 

"buy the boobs," the person commented, to which Aoki retorted, "You are welcome to Venmo me for the boob job though. I'll spend it on more plunging shirts or whatever."

The model, who began the clapback process by hiding several other body-shaming comments, also reposted the image to her story alongside the words: 

"Just for the body shamers in my comments, do you think I would dress like this if I was worried about my bra size????? founding member of the itty bitty titty committee thank you very much."

Aoki showed that she was not afraid to drag a family member when she publicly called out her father for his alleged disturbing behavior. In the caption of a video that has since been taken down, she typed:

"My father is not well for years; he needs help and won't accept that [and] refuses to acknowledge he is not himself. He has threatened and bullied my sister, my grandma; he has harassed my grandma in the middle of the night in poor health, sent a man to my sister's apartment at 2am to scare her."

As The Blast observed, she then detailed that Russell reacted aggressively towards anyone who failed to reassure him with, "oh everything is fine, Russell." 

After claiming that she would have to pivot to a career in law and work in criminal justice if the entrepreneur followed through on his threats, Aoki concluded:

"Sure, I love my job, but if he takes it away from me, I won't die. You don't threaten my sister and grandma and mother and say 'who's gonna believe you I'm Russell Simmons nobody thinks I'm crazy' well he is."

Seemingly responding to Aoki's post, Russell uploaded a photo of her and her elder sister, Ming Lee, on Instagram with a caption that began:

"God is testing you a little bit, it's ok, be strong. . . they are called growing pains . . . as you know, we grow through adversity and struggle . . . you read my books and heard me preach your whole childhood."

He then asked his daughters to "reach back to old lessons and remember to remember 'smile and breathe' 'smile and breathe,'" adding that they should "let go [and] be at ease."

"DEEPLY sorry for being frustrated and yelling . . .but know this . . . there are no conditions . . . for sure I love you guys more than I love myself," the writer wrapped up.
