The famously low-key pair originally met in 2001. ETOnline reported that, “Cohen and Fisher met at a party in Sydney, Australia, back in 2001. They reportedly bonded after secretly roasting the guests in attendance. Not long ago, Cohen revealed to 'The New York Times' that it was Fisher's sense of humor that immediately hooked him. He told the outlet, ‘She was hilarious. We were at a very pretentious party, and me and her bonded over taking the mick out of the other people in the party. I knew instantly. I don't know if she did. It's taken her about 20 years to know.’”

According to Page Six, “They got engaged in 2004 and in preparation for their wedding, Fisher converted to Judaism, Cohen’s religion, in early 2007. They wed in an intimate ceremony in Paris on March 15, 2010.”

In 2021, as Cohen accepted a Golden Globe for “Borat: Subsequent Movie Film,” he raved about his marriage to Fisher in his speech.

“It's impossible to make a movie like this without having an incredibly supporting spouse. You know, I went and made two movies in the last 12 months: ‘[The Trial of the] Chicago Seven’ and ‘Borat 2.’ And these aren't normal shoot days; you're calling up sometimes at the end of the day and just saying, ‘I was lucky to make it out in one piece today,’ so you need a very, very understanding wife. And I'm very lucky to have it.”

In 2022, Fisher gushed about her long marriage in an interview with "The Australian's Women's Weekly."

"I think by Hollywood standards it's probably 200 years. I feel like it's a Golden Jubilee or something. Everyone was congratulating me."

The news comes on the heels of bad press for Cohen, who was accused by actress Rebel Wilson of being an “massive a—hole” on the set of their 2016 film, “The Brothers Grimsby.” Wilson made the claims in her new memoir, “Rebel Rising: A Memoir.”

The “Pitch Perfect” star then accused the “Borat” star of attempting to silence her in a post made on her Instagram stories.

“I will not be bullied or silenced by high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers. The ‘a—hole’ that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is: Sacha Baron Cohen.”

Cohen fired back against the claims in a statement from his representatives.

“While we appreciate the importance of speaking out, these demonstrably false claims are directly contradicted by extensive detailed evidence, including contemporaneous documents, film footage, and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of ‘The Brothers Grimsby.’”

The pair raised their family in Los Angeles, Australia, and London, where they were seen house-hunting last year.
