Wilson started the week by pointing accusatory fingers at Baron Cohen, whom she co-starred with in the 2016 film, "The Brothers Grimsby."

Taking to her Instagram Stories early Monday morning, the "Pitch Perfect" star informed her 11.1 million followers:

"I will not be bullied or silenced by high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers. The 'a—hole' that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is: Sacha Baron Cohen."

The words, written in black letters, were set against the backdrop of a book and a purple pen.

Just two days ago, Wilson typed via her Stories, "I wrote about an a—hole in my book. Now, said a—hole is trying to threaten me. He's hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers."

She noted that despite the then-unnamed individual "trying to stop press coming out about" her book, the pages would drop, and the public would "know the truth."

Wilson initially made her plans to name and shame a Hollywood figure she had worked with that did not work out well in a video posted on Instagram on March 15. Starting off the clip, the 44-year-old said:

When I first came to Hollywood, people were like, 'Yeah, I have a no-a—holes policy that means, like, I don't work with a—holes.' I was like, 'Yeah, I mean, that sounds sensible, logical.'"

The meaning behind those people's words soon dawned on the "How to be Single" performer because she expressed "worked with a massive a—hole," and now had the same policy.

"The chapter on said a—hole, is chapter 23. That guy was a massive a—hole," Wilson added. In the caption accompanying the seconds-long clip, she wrote:

"Do you wanna know why I have a "no a—holes" policy now with people I work with? ...Well it's all in the book: REBEL RISING available for pre-order now (drops April 2nd, link in bio)...oh and YES I name the a—hole!"

Fans Are Looking Forward To Getting The Entire Tea

News of Wilson calling out the Hollywood star caused a flurry of conversation and a show of support in the comment section.

While one Instagram user wondered who the comedian was referring to, another name-dropped Tom Cruise, and a third playfully suggested Chris Hemsworth.

At the same time, a fourth person commented, "Everyone will skip to chapter 23 as soon as the book arrives!!" A fifth supporter declared, "Love it when someone actually names names..... and doesn't keep us guessing!"

"Yeah, time to name names. They do when it's women," a sixth Wilson fan asserted, as a seventh echoed, "It's a great policy, name & shame them.... love it!! Looking forward to reading your book. Go GIRL POWER."

Along with calling out Baron Cohen for his supposed misconduct, Wilson claimed that "Rebel Rising" would explore her unique Hollywood journey and her experience tackling personal subjects such as weight, sexuality, and fertility.

Speaking about the book's content in a video posted last December, the Shorty Award recipient expressed:

"You guys, I can't wait for you to read this. You're going to see a whole new side of me—lots of funny stuff and serious stuff. And hopefully, you guys will love the book as much as I've loved writing it—although sometimes it's been gut-wrenching and emotional."

Writing Her Life Story Did Not Come Easily For Wilson

In a prior interview with US media, Wilson provided glimpses into the intimate and often challenging process of writing her life story. As it turned out, the secret to getting it right was for her to get isolated. She disclosed:

"I've been writing the book for the past 18 months because when I write, I have to be totally by myself and isolated. It's just been this secret thing I've been doing by myself for 18 months. It's so exciting now that it's done."

However, becoming isolated was not the only thing she did, especially when she realized that the first chapters of her upcoming memoir had fallen short. To resolve that problem, Wilson stated that she tried something different.

"I just sat there by myself as if I'm just telling the story to a friend. I just kind of found my writing style — as if I'm sitting opposite my friend, telling you all my life's deepest secrets, which is a bit scary," the Teen Choice Awards winner detailed.
