Machine Gun Kelly Reveals He Has 'Started Smoking Again' While Living Separately From Megan Fox
In a recent Instagram Story, Machine Gun Kelly shared a glimpse into his life on stage as he indulged in a smoking session during his performance alongside rapper Trippie Redd in New York City.
He captioned the video, "started smoking again," adding, "Life's been weird lately but grateful I have yall." While the "Bloody Valentine" singer didn't specify the content of the smoke, a cigarette emoji accompanied the caption.
The duo's performance in NYC showcased their latest collaboration, "Lost Boys," from their surprise EP release, "Sadboy." Within the song's lyrics, MGK reflects on personal struggles, touching on depression and heartbreak.
"Bloodshot, blue eyes, I recorded two tonight/ One is for all those I love, this one's for the suicide/ Everything is blue inside, everyone at you and me/ People won't say how they feel about you until you die," MGK raps, per HipHopDX.
Megan Fox Announces Split From Machine Gun Kelly While Referring To Him As Her 'Twin Soul'
MGK's announcement of resuming smoking again comes just weeks after Fox revealed that their engagement has ended on the March 20 episode of Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast.
Wanting to keep the status of their relationship private, Fox said: "What I've learned from being in this relationship is that it's not for public consumption, so I think, as of now, I don't have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se."
Despite the ambiguity, the "Transformers" actress expressed a profound connection with Kelly, referring to him as her "twin soul."
"What I can say is, that is what I refer to as being my 'twin soul', and there will always be a tether to him no matter what," she explained. "I can't say what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I'm not willing to explain."
Machine Gun Kelly And Megan Fox Are 'Still Together And Trying To Figure Things Out'
The former lovebirds are now reportedly living apart, with Fox in Malibu and Kelly in their Encino mansion.
"They did this arrangement to give each other some space while still being together," a source told Us Weekly. "[They] are at a low moment right now. It changes every day."
An insider also previously told Entertainment Tonight that MGK and Fox are "trying to figure things out" after postponing their wedding plans despite a two-year engagement.
The source explained: "Megan and MGK's relationship is up and down. Right now, they are taking some space, but things could easily change."
However, the insider emphasized that Kelly remains deeply devoted to Fox, adding: "They are still together as a couple and trying to figure things out. MGK is very in love with Megan, so he does his best to keep her happy and lets her take the lead."
MGK Is Supportive Of Megan Fox's 'Openness'
Discussing Fox's recent appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, the source highlighted her intention to share her story openly and honestly, without fear of misrepresentation.
"Megan wanted to go on 'Call Her Daddy' to tell her own story, be forthright, and have the opportunity to speak her own truth without her words being twisted, misrepresented, or misconstrued," they explained.
"MGK is supportive and respects Megan's openness. He would never want to silence her in any capacity and admires her strength and desire to be honest, even if her narrative involves him and their relationship at points." The insider added.
Megan Fox Previously Debunked Cheating Rumors
Fox and Kelly's romance blossomed for nearly two years before they revealed their engagement in January 2022. However, turbulence hit their relationship last February, triggering breakup rumors when Fox purged Kelly from her Instagram and ceased following his account.
Amid speculation of infidelity involving Kelly's guitarist, Sophie Lloyd, the "Jennifer's Body" actress took to social media to debunk the gossip, vehemently denying any third-party involvement.
"There has been no third-party interference in this relationship of any kind. That includes, but is not limited to…actual humans, DMs, AI bots, or succubus demons," she clarified at the time. "While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all these innocent people alone now."
However, the couple rekindled their romance and were spotted on a romantic getaway in Hawaii just two months later, with public sightings in Aspen and at the Super Bowl earlier this year.
