The intimate revelations continue in Rebel Wilson's new memoir, "Rebel Rising," with the actress spilling the tea about losing her virginity.
A snippet of the Australian sensation's tell-all biography captured her candid recollection of how she had her first sexual experience at 35. Surprisingly, the man responsible had no idea he popped the "Pitch Perfect" star's cherry.
Rebel Wilson Reflects On Losing Her Virginity To This Actor
In her new memoir, Wilson revealed she lost her virginity to Mickey Gooch Jr., a fellow comedian and actor. The duo starred together in the rom-com movie, "How to Be Single," and the actress broke the big news to him, writing:
"Micks, I know this might be news to you if you are reading this, but yes, I lost my virginity to you."
The pair dated for a few months in 2015, and at the time, they were seen acting very cozy and "cuddly" toward each other on a dinner date in Manhattan. However, they separated that September, with a source noting:
"It's been hard for him. They're still friends, so you never know if they might get back together."
Although the insider's predictions were wrong, the former couple still share a special relationship as Wilson confirmed in a recent interview per Daily Mail that Gooch "was the first person to read" her book, so he is aware that he took her virginity when she was 35.

In her book, the "Isn't It Romantic" actress explained that she waited so long to have her first sexual experience because of weight struggles, claiming that "As a big girl, no one would ever truly find me sexually attractive."
However, her perspective changed with her mother's breast cancer diagnosis, as the ordeal taught her the importance of living in the moment. "Life IS short. I didn't want to live my life without experiencing sex. Experiencing love," Wilson wrote, adding:
"I put it out into the universe that I was finally ready. I was going to feel the fear and just do it. I was going to slut it up with the next guy that came along — who also seemed like a suitable marriage candidate."

Reflecting on her sexual experience with Gooch, Wilson revealed that she felt comfortable sleeping with him a month into their relationship. In preparation for the deed, she flew him out to stay with her at a hotel in New York City.
The Australian sensation also prepared herself for the big night, admitting in her memoir that she watched porn and used a vibrator the night before. Raving about her excitement, she wrote:
"I'd imagine having sex and being intimate, and everything would always be in my head. Now, I'm someone who lives much more in my body. And I'm loving it. Now I actually have a boyfriend, and he's handsome and rich to boot."

Looking back on the experience, Wilson stressed that she doesn't regret losing her virginity at a later age, unlike others. She reflected on the special night positively, noting that "Not everybody has to lose their virginity as a teenager."
"People can wait 'til they're ready or wait 'til they're a bit more mature," she continued in her book, adding:
"You obviously don't have to wait until you're in your 30s like me, but you shouldn't feel pressure as a young person."
The revelation about her first sexual experience comes four months after Wilson promised fans her new memoir would unveil a "whole new side." She made the declaration in December 2023 in a candid Instagram Story video.
