Chanel West Coast Criticized For Cheeky Bikini Outside Church

Chanel West Coast landed on some pretty conservative fans as she posted to Instagram with cheeky throwback snaps two days ago. The MTV alum, 35, updated her account to shout out her "Old Fashioned" track ahead of Easter, sharing shots from a shoot that saw her in a bikini and chaps look while posing outside of a church. Despite gaining love from many fans, Chanel quickly found herself under fire, this as users deemed the racy look inappropriate outside of a place of worship. Chanel does not appear to have responded to the comments.

Scroll for the photos. Rocking a majorly Western vibe as she went full cowgirl, Chanel sizzled in a cow-print bikini in black and white, one coming as part of a denim-infused outfit. Posing with prayer hands as she wore chaps with a jeans waist area and glossy blue pants, the "No Plans" rapper sported curled red locks as she posed with her palms pressed together, opening her gallery outdoors and backed by a church with a visible cross on the exterior.

Dropping it low in one snap as she squatted, again with her hands in prayer pose, Chanel flashed her peachy rear and toned thighs as she rocked cow-print platforms matching her swimwear, with the whole thing giving a giant nod to her "Old Fashioned" track. "A lil #FBF post. Happy Good Friday Fave 1-4?" a caption read.

Quick to slam Chanel was a fan saying: "Why you doing that in front of a church. You need to be home with your baby." Over 42 fans liked the comment. "You don't do that in front of a church," another said. Some, however, defended Chanel. "This is a photo shoot. You do know people have to work to pay bills. Where is your baby, while your worried about hers?" one fan retorted. Chanel shares her 2022-born daughter Bowie Breeze with boyfriend Dom Fenison and regularly updates her Instagram with family-centric snaps.

Also unimpressed was a fan saying: "You seem so fun, you can do better."

"This ain't Texas," a further fan wrote, possibly referencing singer Beyonce's new country album. The post did, however, gain over 20,000 likes.

Posting for Mother's Day 2023 and twinning in pink with Bowie, Chanel wrote:

"Happy Mothers Day to all the mamas out there! This lil one @bowiebreeze has brought me so much happiness in such a short amount of time and I don’t know how I ever existed without her. Being a mom is such a fulfilling experience that teaches you so much everyday." She added: 2I’ve found a new, much stronger, gratefulness for my mom and all the women out there and even if you don’t have a child of your own yet….we all have a mother."
