Emily Ratajkowski In Sheer Minidress Told She Needs To 'Stop Already'

Emily Ratajkowski sparked backlash last July as she was photographed in a see-through minidress. Heading out for a night with girlfriends in NYC, the 32-year-old supermodel rocked her favorite sheer finish as she went thigh-skimming in a gorgeous black minidress, but it looks like Instagram wasn't too impressed. In photos circulated by Just Jared, Emily flaunted her jaw-dropping figure in a classy, totally sheer dress that flashed her stringy undies beneath, but one look at the comments suggests a crowd that would rather Emily had covered up. A popular reply even told the Inamorata founder to "stop already."

Scroll for the photo. Putting a see-through twist on the classic little black dress, Emily showed off her mile-long legs in her tulle-like fabrics. Opting for long sleeves and a boat neckline with defined black piping, the bikini queen was photographed smiling and in daylight in New York City.

Flashing a plunging black bra that afforded a view of her cleavage, EmRata kept her undies coordinated with matching briefs, with space between the two-piece highlighting her world-famous abs. Rocking a thigh pair of black boots in leather, Emily added height to her frame, with a silvery shoulder purse adding in pops of color.

Emily was photographed walking in a downtown area before hopping into a vehicle. Here, the swimwear designer offered the camera a massive booty flash as she revealed her briefs to be thong ones.

Fans were quick to raise eyebrows as Just Jared wrote: "Emily Ratajkowski steps out in sheer mesh dress for a night out with her girlfriends in New York City."

"The risk between looking sexy and looking tacky is a fine line these days I think," one fan said as over 130 others agreed. Another said that the look was "attention seeking at its highest." Also slamming the Kerastase ambassador was a fan writing: "I’m not a prude but seriously, these girls who are scantily clad need to stop already."

Seemingly missing days gone by when thong looks in the street weren't the norm, one fan added: "What happened to the days where women left something to the imagination! I miss that! You can look sexy and be fully dressed!" Emily may identify as a feminist, but the My Body author has always refused to apologize for dressing however she chooses. Fans largely seem to embrace her solid mindset, but it looks like this crowd just couldn't get with the sheer look.
