On Tuesday, Melania made an appearance alongside her husband, Donald, at the Florida presidential primary. Given the rarity of her appearance, the press seized the opportunity to ask the former model probing questions, one of which was whether she would play an active role in Donald's re-election bid.

In response to the question, Melania gave a cryptic reply, saying, "Stay tuned," and chose not to elaborate further on the subject. This response has since circulated online and has most recently been interpreted by Melania's former aide, Wolkoff.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Wolkoff claimed that the remark meant "Don't hold your breath," suggesting that MAGA supporters shouldn't expect her to get actively involved anytime soon.

"When a journalist asked, 'Mrs. Trump, are you going to return to the campaign trail with your husband?' Melania said, 'Stay Tuned' Let me interpret this for you. DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATHE," the book author wrote in her post.

Several social media users commented on Wolkoff's post, stating that her interpretation was somewhat true.

One X user said, "Look at Melania's body language; she has no desire to be standing next to Trump."

"Thanks for the translation, Stephanie. I count on you to be the one who knows," another person commented.

"Remember when he promised us a press conference on Melania's immigration story which never happened? We didn't hold our breaths back then either. Lol," a third user joked.

Some other fans speculated that Melania made the comment due to an alleged business arrangement between her and Donald.

"I figure she makes a once monthly obligatory showing, as drawn up in the contract, and an added bonus every time she holds his hand or let's him touch her in any way," someone claimed.

The Former Aide Clarified Her Tweets About Donald Trump's Marriage

Earlier this month, Wolkoff clarified her tweet about how "Donald" no longer displays chivalry towards Melania.

"Let me bottom line this for you," Wolkoff wrote in a post on X, quoting a video from one of the couple's appearances. "Perception is everything to the Trump Family, so Donald's lack of "chivalry" towards Melania is quite a 'tell.'"

She added, "Chivalry for Donald was waiting for Melania to go first & ensuring she walked by his side. He's been doing neither recently. Take a [look]."

After her tweet was speculated to mean that Donald and Melania's marriage was "on the rocks," Wolkoff explained that she was only "highlighting the shift in their dynamics."

She wrote on X, "My tweets don't imply Donald & Melania Trump's marriage is 'on the rocks' & I didn't 'ironically' come to Melania's 'aide' by stating a fact, which is that their marriage 'is what is it.' As I wrote in 'Melania and Me,' their marriage 'works' for them both. Literally! Highlighting the shift in their dynamic."

Amid speculations about the status of Donald and Melania's marriage, New York Times reporter Katie Rogers recently offered a peek into the 53-year-old's life as the former first lady in her book, "American Woman."

She claimed that the mother of one spent the majority of her time "meeting with teams of lawyers to examine her assets and attend to matters associated with her pre- and postnuptial agreements with her husband."

Another reporter, Mary Jordan, also wrote about the prenup in her biography of Melania, titled "The Art of Her Deal."

Jordan said Melania used her leverage as First Lady at the time to renegotiate the deal and protect the interests of her son, Barron.

"She wanted proof in writing that when it came to financial opportunities and inheritance, Barron would be treated as more of an equal to Trump's oldest three children," Jordan wrote, adding that all Melania wanted to do was protect her son Barron's "rightful share of inheritance."

On Wednesday, Donald and Melania's son Barron, who has stayed out of the public eye for years, turned 18.

Unlike his elder siblings, Barron has been free of criticism by the public; however, following his recent birthday celebration, former NBC senior executive Mike Sington stated that the 18-year-old is now "fair game."

Sington wrote in a since-deleted tweet, "Barron Trump turns 18 today. He's fair game now."

The comment sparked outrage from Republicans, with some branding the former exec "creepy" and weird" for posting such a tweet.

Sington later told Newsweek what he really meant by "fair game." He said, "I posted he was 'fair game' now, meaning, as an adult, he's 'fair game' for criticism from the press."

"Someone pointed out to me 'fair game' could mean fair game to be harmed. I don't wish physical harm on anyone, so I took it down. I listen to the comments and criticism I receive," Sington added.
