Kristin Cavallari Opens Up About 'Hesitation' In Relationship With New BF

Kristin Cavallari has some restrictions regarding her new romance with Mark Estes. 

She opened up about those relationship concerns during a recent episode of her podcast, just weeks after going public with Estes following a February baecation in Mexico.

The day before Cavallari dropped everything to go on a romantic getaway with her man, she recorded an episode of her "Let's Be Honest podcast" alongside her guest, Cindy Luffred.

Delving into her love life with the spiritual medium acclaimed as Revealing Soul, the reality television star admitted to initially feeling hesitant about dating Estes due to their age difference. While she is 37, Estes is 24. 

"I will say there's an age gap with us which is my big hang-up on it. Listen, age is a number. I'm insanely attracted to him. He's so perfect. The only thing is he's younger than me, like, a lot younger," the former "Laguna Beach" star divulged, per ET.

During the February podcast, Cavallari claimed, "So far, so good. So, we'll see," about her relationship with Estes. Luffred mentioned that even though she did not see a clear "forever reading" on Estes, it was not a definitive "no."

"That's alright," Cavallari responded. Furthermore, Luffred assured that she "certainly" envisioned the possibility of "The Hills" alum tying the knot again, hinting that Estes closely matches her ideal partner.

Before the session with Luffred, Cavallari spilled the tea on how she met Estes. During the March 12 episode of her podcast, she recalled stumbling upon Estes' boy group, Montana Boyz, while strolling through TikTok last September.

"I go, 'Holy s—, who are these guys, because they're so hot, but specifically this one,' who I'm going to refer to as Montana," the mother of three detailed before describing Estes as her "type." 

Despite that initial attraction, Cavallari made no moves until she received an Instagram DM from the Montana Boyz that read, "I love you." 

While she thought that the music group would come on the podcast and "it'll be a fun flirt," everything shifted when she discovered that Estes was the one she was chatting with. 

Cavallari told listeners that when she inquired about which member of Montana Boyz she was chatting with, and he responded, "This is Montana," she told him, "Oh, perfect. You're my favorite," without missing a beat.

Cavallari and Estes maintained their conversation and eventually had their first in-person meeting after the Montana Boyz relocated to Nashville, Tennessee.

Shortly after their meeting, Estes shocked her by asking her to be his Valentine, and they arranged a date for February 13. "He came, brought me flowers, picked me up, we went to dinner, it was very sweet," she explained.

One occurrence that made the pick-up even sweeter was Estes meeting the author's children before they went on their date. Recalling the event, Cavallari stated:

"This is the real first guy I'd say they've met. When Montana came to pick me up, the boys were like, 'Can I show you my room?' Like Montana's upstairs with my kids, seeing their rooms. My boys were so excited about him."

She emphasized Estes' bond with the youngins when she posted a photo of the model and one of her sons spending quality time on Instagram Story earlier this week. 

The duo were captured from behind, strolling down what seemed to be a mall.

In case you missed it, Cavallari came under fire when she launched Estes on Instagram last month. At the time, she uploaded a picture of them during their Mexican getaway alongside the caption, "He makes me happy."

One person disagreed with the fashion designer's choice to be with a younger man, commenting that Cavallari was in her "cougar era."

A second disappointed Instagram user declared that the age gap gave them "the ick," and a third called Estes "a college frat boy." 

A fourth person asked, "Ain't you like 40," as a fifth wondered, "Which son is this?"

Amid the slamming, The Blast highlighted insiders' claim that Cavallari and Estes have been spending time together for about a month.

Cavallari's romance debut came nearly a year after she announced her split from her husband of a decade, Jay Cutler. In a statement issued via Instagram, the Uncommon James founder wrote:

"After 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family."

The estranged couple share sons, Camden and Jaxon, and a daughter, Saylor.
