Gisele Bündchen On Post-Divorce Life
The supermodel has, once again, revealed how much her life has changed since she and Tom Brady called it quits in 2022.
“My life is a little different,” the supermodel told WSJ in a new interview. “I have my kids sometimes, sometimes I don’t have my kids. There’s a different ritual when I’m with them and when I’m not.”
She went on to explain how her life changes during those times when her children are staying with her. “When my kids are with me, they have so many activities,” she said of her son and daughter. “It’s difficult to manage my schedule and their schedule. The most important thing for me every day is to put the oxygen mask on me first.”
In 2022, around the same time that Tom and Gisele revealed they were going through tough times, reports surfaced that the Brazilian fashion model spent some time with her ju-jitsu instructor. After rumors circulated she cheated on Tom with her ju-jitsu instructor, the NFL player claims she "cheated on him for years."
Gisele Bündchen Says Co-Parenting Can Be Difficult
This is not the first time the supermodel opened up about the struggles of co-parenting.
When speaking to Harper's Bazaar, she admitted, "Sometimes, I get pushback, especially because now they’re in two different homes and there are two different ways, but I feel like I owe it to my kids, because of what my mom taught me."
"You are where you come from," Gisele went on. "All those things that I learned as a kid are things that are in me. It doesn’t change. In many ways, it's also what kept me safe, because my value system was so strong."
The Brazilian supermodel concluded, "Today, being in the place where I am in my life and having access to all the different things I’ve had access to, I feel like the simple things are best because I keep trying to go back to those things. At the end of the day, those are the things that make me the happiest."
Gisele Bündchen Looks Back At Life With Tom Brady
The Brazilian supermodel reflected on her life post-divorce, telling WSJ, "To live in a state of gratitude is like a protection in your life."
She added, "We can look at things like, why is this happening to me? I believe we are here because we all have something to learn and to evolve and to grow. When I look back, the biggest, most challenging experiences in my life were all happening for me. They showed me that I was stronger than I thought I was."
Gisele Bündchen's Morning Routine
Following her divorce, Gisele Bündchen says she tries to keep the same morning routine as a way to maintain peace.
"I like to go to bed at about 10 p.m. and I wake up around 5 and make sure that I have my meditation," she told WSJ of her day-to-day life. "I like to have lukewarm water with a little lemon and Celtic salt. Then I do my stretches, which I call my asana, for about 15 minutes, then 15 minutes of meditation. Then I walk my dog, feed my dog and then my day starts."
What Does Gisele Bündchen Eat For Breakfast?
If she works out in the morning, she will have eggs or a smoothie for breakfast. “I also like avocado. It can be an omelet, a frittata,” she told WSJ of her typical breakfast meal. “Sometimes I have a smoothie. I always make an almond paste to have some protein in there.”
And for those who have a sweet tooth, don't worry because the supermodel says there are ways to sweeten your treats without putting "poison" into your body. “There [are] so many other ways you can sweeten your things that are delicious," she said before listing, "Honey, maple syrup, dates.”
She is currently promoting her new cookbook, 'Nourish: Simple Recipes to Empower Your Body and Feed Your Soul,' which will drop on March 26.
