Garrison Was Laid To Rest In A Private Ceremony

The Brown family said their final farewells to Garrison on Saturday in a private memorial service, which his cousin Emma confirmed in a heartfelt letter. She shared several pictures of the deceased and reflected on her emotions after the funeral with the caption:

"Dear Robert, I had to dress up for your funeral today, and this is everything i wish you could've heard before I had to say goodbye. We love you. I don't even own a picture of you without your contagious smile."

"I don't know if I have the right words to say I'll miss you. I wish I was able to give you a hug and tell you how much you were loved," Emma continued. She also reminisced about her favorite memories with Garrison and hoped he was finally at peace.

Janelle Tried To Check On Garrison Before His Death

According to a police report, Janelle Brown reportedly tried to check on her son following an ominous text he sent a day before his death.

Garrison had contacted a group of people the Brown family works with, presumably those linked to their reality TV show, writing:

"I want to hate you for sharing the good times. But I can't. I miss these days."

After catching wind of his concerning message, Janelle reached out to Garrison, and they briefly chatted over text before he stopped responding.

Worried, the matriarch implored his siblings to do a wellness check, and her son Gabriel offered to visit his older brother's apartment.

Unfortunately, Gabriel was greeted by Garrison's lifeless body and a handgun.
