The cause of death for Masuimi Max has been disclosed. 

According to new reports, the renowned Playboy model who graced the pages of iconic publications is said to have died from an accidental drug overdose.

The news comes over one month after Max was discovered deceased in her Las Vegas residence.

Masuimi Max's Unexpected Demise Left A Hole In Her Fans' Hearts

US media has learned that Max passed away from an accidental overdose of cocaine and fentanyl. The confirmation seems to align with what authorities said after she was found dead in her home on January 25. 

At the time, they stated that they did not suspect foul play. However, they did mention that they planned to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.

The 45-year-old started her modeling career in the early 2000s, paving the way for features in numerous prominent publications, including Alt Magazine, Bizarre Magazine, Maxim, and Playboy, among others. In addition to modeling, Max also dabbled in Hollywood movies.

TMZ highlighted that despite not reaching A-list status in her acting pursuits, she accumulated several credits, as detailed on her IMDb profile. Her roles include appearances in "Cornman: American Vegetable Hero" and "Giantess Battle Attack."

In the 2005 action movie "xXx: State of the Union," she notably appeared alongside actor Samuel L. Jackson and rapper Ice Cube in an uncredited role. For those who may have missed it, Max featured in the Columbia-distributed film as the girlfriend of the character played by rapper Xzibit.

Her latest acting role was in the 2023 independent horror film Protege Moi, in which the model of Korean and German descent portrayed the character Mercel. 

Additionally, in recent years, Max established a significant online presence as an influencer, garnering 314k followers on Instagram. Her legacy continues through her horror-themed burlesque videos and makeup tutorials on YouTube, which remain accessible posthumously.

Fans Camp On Masuimi Max's Last Post

Since the news of her passing surfaced, fans have taken to the comment section of Max's final Instagram post, dated January 19, to air their condolences. 

"So sad to hear you've crossed over, friend. Miss you," one person wrote, as another expressed, "What?!?!? I could not believe it when I saw the news of your passing. I remember how great of a person you were to me. Your energy would fill the room. Now your spirit has no bounds. Rest In Power."

A third heartbroken fan stated, "the chaos will continue to rage on in spite of your legacy for the presence and impact you've left on your friends and this life.. We ? you so much masuimi." Meanwhile, this Instagram user recalled:

"She was in a pole fitness class that I was taking a few years ago. She was so kind and funny. I didn't realize how famous she was until much later and with good reason. Everyone loved her and she had such a dynamic personality. She was so nice to me, I'll never forget her."
