Kim Zolciak Breaks Silence On Daughter Brielle Biermann's Engagement

Kim Zolciak has experienced her fair share of failed marriages; however, her past relationships cannot overshadow the joy of her daughter's engagement.

The reality TV star's oldest ward, Brielle Biermann, recently said yes to minor league baseball player Billy Seidl. She shared pictures of the romantic proposal on social media, a moment her mother sweetly reacted to in her latest Instagram update.

Zolciak raved about her happiness for Brielle and Seidl in a heartfelt post featuring three pictures from the proposal. The first slide captured the baseball player on one knee as he popped the big question while his fiancée looked overwhelmed by her emotions.

Brielle's radiant expression continued on the second slide, where she flaunted her engagement ring. In the snap, the excited 27-year-old was on a video call with Zolciak, who looked pleasantly surprised by her daughter's new bling.

The same scene repeated itself in the final picture, showing the mother and daughter from a different angle. It is unclear if the first person Brielle broke the news to was Zolciak, but from the post, one could see how happy she was to share the news with the matriarch.

The "Don't Be Tardy" star echoed similar sentiments in her Instagram caption, writing:

"I'm so happy for @briellebiermann @bseidl21 nothing makes me happier than seeing my kids happy! ? It's the best feeling EVER!! Love you both to the moon and back and look forward to alllll the years to come ??❤️?."

Zolciak's reaction to her daughter's engagement comes at the heels of Brielle's announcement on Instagram. The soon-to-be bride shared her new fiancée status with fans, dropping three pictures from the proposal.

The first showed Seidl on one knee popping the big question, while the other two snaps showed the couple taking what appeared to be selfies. Given Zolciak's post, the pair might have been FaceTiming their loved ones instead of taking pictures.

The proposal occurred outdoors at what appeared to be a park, given the lush greenery surrounding the couple. For the big day, Brielle donned a stunning bodycon pink dress and heels while her beau rocked a white shirt over black trousers.

"Forever with you," she happily captioned the post alongside a string of emojis. The sweet moment generated several comments, with one curious fan wondering when Seidl became the 27-year-old's lover.

"When the engagement is the hard launch, ok ok who's this guy," the individual asked. This question piqued Brielle's interest, and she explained why she kept her relationship with Seidl a secret. In her words:

"Lol. I posted him on my story a bunch. The people who needed to know, knew & now I can share with everyone ? Some things are better kept private."

Following her reply, the fan assured Brielle that she wasn't trying to be rude and congratulated her new chapter. More IG users echoed similar toasts, wishing the soon-to-be bride happiness in her relationship with Seidl.

The former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star is the proud mother of six wonderful children, whom she welcomed with three different men. Her oldest child, Brielle, was born on February 25, 1997, and her biological father remains a mystery.

Brielle has made a name for herself as a model and media personality. She often poses for photos while wearing bikinis from her mother's swimwear line, Salty K, and modeling their joint beauty venture, KAB Cosmetics.

Her younger sister, Ariana, arrived on October 17, 2001. She was born during Zolciak's marriage to ex-husband Daniel Toce, whom the reality TV star was with from 2001 to 2003.

Like her sibling, Ariana spent her early childhood in front of cameras thanks to her mother's gigs. She appeared on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and Zolciak's spinoff series, "Don't Be Tardy."

In July 2013, Brielle and Ariana legally changed their last names to Biermann after they were adopted by Zolciak's now-estranged husband, Kroy Biermann. The former couple tied the knot in 2011 and welcomed four children — Kroy Jr., Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane.

After roughly 12 years of marriage, Kim and Kroy filed for divorce in April 2023. But two months later, a source told PEOPLE the couple had called off their separation and were "trying to make it work for the kids."

Unfortunately, things went south as Kroy filed for a second divorce in August 2023, just months after news broke that the couple's house in Alpharetta, Georgia, was in foreclosure. This reportedly occurred because the pair defaulted on a $1.65 million loan they took out for the home in October 2012.
