In a recent Instagram post, Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles, took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news that her brother, Rowland Martin Buyince, affectionately known as Butch, died over the weekend.

In a heartwarming tribute to her brother, Knowles posted a black and white portrait of Butch donning his United States Air Force attire.

In the caption, she fondly remembered Butch as her "handsome big brother," now resting in the embrace of heaven. She expressed deep sorrow over the loss, emphasizing Butch's distinguished career in the Air Force, his love for motorcycles, and a black belt in karate.

The 70-year-old noted Butch's "beautiful green eyes," adding that he was a "great storyteller."

"He had an incredible wife, Jeanette, and a devoted daughter, Dana, two beautiful grandchildren, Yvette and Roland. He was greatly loved," she added.

Knowles concluded her tribute with a final farewell writing, "Sail on Butch[two red heart emojis] Rowland Martin (Butch) Buyince' June 1946 - Feb 2024 RIP."
