In the wake of the 39-year-old's tragic death, more details emerged, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding his passing. A publicist for the family confirmed that Adam died from a fentanyl overdose.

As reported by The Blast, the heartfelt message issued by the publicist emphasized the severity of the fentanyl crisis plaguing the country, calling for urgent action to address the issue. 

"I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose. The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better," the statement read.

The late star's father had initially confirmed the devastating news of his passing, expressing the family's profound sadness and requesting privacy as they mourned their loss.

In a tear-jerking social media tribute, the 58-year-old shared an emotional photo of himself with his beloved son, accompanied by heartfelt words: "You will always be in my heart! I love you, Adam." 

As expected, it garnered an outpouring of condolences from friends, fans, and even public figures like Donald Trump Jr., who wrote, "I'm so sorry, man."

Actor Christopher Clawson also expressed his sadness by writing, "Condolences Rick," before urging the grieving father to use his platform to address the alarming state of the fentanyl crisis, highlighting the urgent need for action.

Despite Adam's relatively low profile on his father's reality show and in the family business, the impact of his loss reverberated deeply.
