The mother of one, who fortunately escaped the fire unharmed with her son, confessed that the past few days have been an emotional rollercoaster.
She recalled the devastating feelings of loss while watching her home burn down and stressed that her priority was ensuring her young son, Phoenix, was safe and sound.
The "Better Or Worse" actress doubled down on her gratitude to fans and loved ones for their support, stating that she and Phoenix were touched by the outpouring of love they have received. She claimed the support overshadowed the pain of losing their home, saying:
"Having each other, our fur babies, and seeing and feeling all this love has strengthened our love for each other and humanity."
Apart from hailing Perry's significant donation, Brown also gave a special shoutout to her religious community in her interview. She thanked Pastor Mark and the entire congregation of McDonough Rd Baptist Church for going above and beyond for her.
While Perry remains the most publicly known donation, other celebrities have contributed immensely to Brown's GoFundMe page. The list included stars like Tiffany Haddish, Marlon Wayans, Byron Allen, Sherri Shepherd, and "The Breakfast Club" podcast team.
As for the fire that destroyed the actress's home, sources told TMZ the incident was likely started by a lit candle falling into some clothes in the house. However, this claim has not been confirmed by the victim or authorities.

The "Supporting Cocoa and Phoenix after Tragic Fire" fundraiser page housed a lengthy statement from the actress's team. They explained the situation and implored fans and members of the Georgia community to be the beacon of hope in Brown's darkest moment, writing:
"Today, our community was shaken by the devastating news of Cocoa Brown and her son Phoenix losing their home in a fire. Cocoa, a beacon of joy in our lives through her incredible comedy, now faces an unimaginable challenge as she and her son must rebuild their lives from scratch."
"While we're grateful to hear that they are safe, the road ahead is undoubtedly daunting. Cocoa Brown has brought laughter and light to countless lives with her talent and humor," the message continued, noting the fundraiser would help the mother and son get back on their feet.
There was no pressure to contribute financially, as others could support the Brown family by sharing the GoFundMe project with their friends and family and on social media platforms.
"The more people who know about Cocoa's situation, the more support we can gather," the actress's team pleaded. The statement's conclusion reaffirmed the GoFundMe goals, reading:
"Let's come together as a community to show Cocoa Brown and Phoenix that they are not alone. Together, we can help them find light in the midst of darkness and pave the way for a brighter future. Thank you for your generosity and compassion. With love, Team Cocoa Brown."
As stated, the cry for help touched several hearts, and over 400 donations have been made. Together, these sympathetic souls helped generate $41,492 out of the $50,000 target as of Tuesday, but the fundraiser has since passed this mark to over $60,000.
