Nina Dobrev In Skimpy Bikini Wows Swimming With Sharks

Nina Dobrev proved that she's more than just a pretty face as she braved swimming with sharks back in July 2022. The 35-year-old actress made headlines that summer for revealing that she used to be afraid of sharks, but she proved that she'd more than overcome the fear by diving into the water and getting up close and personal with them. In an Instagram video that gained tons of fan love and celebrity approval, Nina showed off her fit figure in a tight rashguard top and skimpy bikini bottoms, also sharing her thoughts in a lengthy caption.

Scroll for the video. Ditching the glam as she went makeup-free and addressed fans from a boat before diving in, Nina flaunted her toned legs as she rocked a blue-and-white-striped pair of swimwear bottoms, plus a practical black diving top.

Making sure to wear her mask and a sturdy pair of flippers, The Vampire Diaries star was seen freely swimming through waters and with a massive tiger shark, then eventually bopping around while back on the boat.

In a caption, the brunette opened: "TIGER SHARKS ?❤️ If you’ve been following me for a while you know how much i love free diving with sharks. i used to be afraid of them until i got into the water to try to get over my fear."

Nina added that only after getting into the water with the sharks did she realize how "uninterested" they are in humans.

"Since then, i’ve gotten to be in the water with so many different kinds of sharks, and it’s been a dream of mine to swim with Tiger sharks specifically, which i FINALLY got to do with @oceanramsey & @juansharks. there were 3 Tigers in the water that day. Roxy who is a 14 foot tiger shark was especially friendly. notice we’re not in a cage. notice," she continued.

Shifting away from conquering her fears and talking animal rights, Nina then voiced her digust at sharks being hunted and killed.

"Humans are hunting and brutally murdering these beautiful sharks who are minding their own business. For what? For sport, prize money and bragging rights. It disgusts me. It makes me so sad to see their corpses washed up on the sand after they’ve been thrown back into the water to drown. WE (humans) are the vicious KILLERS," the brunette wrote.

The post has now topped over 800,000 likes. It even snagged a like from 55-year-old actress Jennifer Aniston.

Shifting away from all things ocean, Nina stunned fans with this Instagram photo as she showed off her toned figure in a strapless Oscar de la Rent dress for a high-profile night out. "Last night was golden," she wrote, shouting out the golds from her gown.
