Bruno Mars Debuted The Pinky Ring At Bellagio Resort & Casino Last Week
On February 12, Mars opened the doors to his newest venture, The Pinky Ring, inside of the Bellagio on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip.
Opening night was anything but average or boring. The exclusive celebration featured a variety of his close friends including Babyface, T-Pain, Jason and Lauren Kennedy, Gayle King, Victoria Monét, Janelle Monáe, Kerrueche Tran, Lucky Day, Wilmer Valderrama and many other notable guests. Some even joined Mars on stage to perform during the much-anticipated debut evening.
The party kicked off with a performance from Mars and his longtime band, The Hooligans. They played a selection of Mars' hits, including "That's What I Like" and "Treasure," as well as some classic cover tunes to match the lounge's vibe, such as "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)," by The Jackson 5 and Bob Marley's "Is This Love."
If that wasn't enough excitement, there were also surprise performances by Monáe, Babyface, Monét and Lucky Daye.
The Hooligans will be the resident house band for the first two weeks the lounge is open. Guests of the lounge are sure to have a memorable time no matter what entertainment is happening during their visit.
"Every element of the experience - from the specialty bar program and live entertainment - has been curated by the global superstar as a place for people to get lost in a good time they will remember forever," said MGM Resorts in a news release.
Bruno Mars Wanted A Place To "Throw Glamorous Parties" When In Vegas
The Las Vegas Review-Journal first reported on Mars' new venture back in July 2022, revealing it would replace Lily Bar & Lounge in the Bellagio. The Bellagio didn't publicly confirm the closing of Lily Bar until June 2023.
"I've been performing in Vegas for years, and I've always wanted a place where I could throw glamorous parties when I'm in town," Mars said, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal.
"A place that felt like my personal penthouse suite, with live music and sensational cocktails. The Pinky Ring is that."
Mars is no stranger to the Vegas music scene. He performed in a sold-out concert residency, "Bruno Mars at The Chelsea, Las Vegas" from 2013 to 2015, and then in another sold-out residency, "Bruno Mars at Park MGM" from 2016 to 2021. Mars has also had many other performances in Vegas.
The Pinky Ring will feature live music, as well as DJs, mood lighting, and more. Open Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m., reservations can be made online.
