Former "Home Improvement" star Zachery Ty Bryan has been arrested for an alleged DUI. Bryan was reportedly booked by police on Saturday morning for driving while intoxicated.
The actor's recent arrest comes after his run-in with the law last year when he was taken into custody for a felony assault.
Zachery Ty Bryan Was Allegedly Involved In A 'Traffic Collision'
According to reports, La Quinta police conducted a traffic stop at around 2 a.m. on Saturday when they discovered a vehicle involved in what seemed to be a "traffic collision."
Upon contacting the driver of the car, they found out it was Bryan and that he showed signs of being impaired, which caused them to arrest him.
A statement from Sergeant Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez of the Riverside County Sherrif's office read: "Deputies assigned to the La Quinta Sheriff's Station conducted a traffic stop in the area of Washington Street and Calle Tampico in La Quinta on a vehicle suspected of being involved in a recent traffic collision."
It continued, "When deputies contacted the driver, they observed indications of impairment, leading to the driver's arrest for driving under the influence with priors."
The sergeant added that the 42-year-old Bryan was eventually "booked into a Riverside County jail."
Following his arrest, Bryan was charged with both a misdemeanor "contempt of court" and a felony for operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Last year, Bryan was arrested for his alleged involvement in a felony assault. Reports at the time showed that he was charged in Eugene, Oregon, on July 28 with fourth-degree felony assault, third-degree robbery, and harassment.

After his arrest in 2023, Bryan's lawyer shared a statement with People that read, "Presumption of innocence is extremely important and people should withhold judgement until they see what the actual facts are."
Prior to that, the Eugene Police Department previously released a statement that confirmed a report on the actor's felony arrest last year. It began, "At around 6:00 p.m. on July 28, Eugene Police received report of a physical dispute between a male and adult female at a north Eugene residence. The dispute was reported to have occurred several hours prior, and the suspect, identified as Zachery Ty Bryan, age 41, of Laguna Beach, California, had left the location."
The statement continued, "Eugene Police subsequently contacted Bryan in the area. Bryan was lodged at Lane County Jail on a charge of Assault in the Fourth Degree APA (Abuse Prevention Act)."
Bryan's arrest last year came after he was initially arrested in 2020 for 4th-degree assault and alleged strangulation. In 2021, the actor pled guilty to two counts of misdemeanor.
He was reportedly sentenced to "36 months of bench probation, with conditions of probation including the program Bridges2Safety and no contact with the victim as well as the other standard conditions in a domestic violence sentencing."

After he was charged with assault in 2023, Bryan's fiancée, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, spoke out in his defense. She told Us Weekly that she will "always want what's best for the father of my children."
The 30-year-old model continued, "Trauma can bring struggles in many shapes and forms. It's a horrible situation that's going to be spun in so many ways."
Concluding her statement, Cartwright said, "I've learned firsthand the truth will never align with what's been put out there. I ask everyone to please be respectful of our privacy for the sake of the children and our families so the healing process can begin."
Bryan and Cartwright, who got engaged in November 2021, share three kids together. The actor also shares four children with his former wife, Carly Matros.
