Nick Carter's Sister Bobbi Jean's Cause Of Death Revealed

Aaron Carter and Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter's sister Bobbi Jean's official cause of death has finally been revealed after she passed away at the age of 41.

As we reported, Bobbi was discovered dead in her bathroom, in a state eerily similar to her younger brother, Aaron. First responders were called to her Tampa, Florida, home on Saturday morning when they discovered Bobbi unconscious in her toilet, according to investigators.

Sadly, after being taken to a local hospital, she was declared dead.

According to the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Department, the late Aaron Carter's sister, Bobbi Jean, died on December 31 of "intoxication by the combined effects of fentanyl and methamphetamine."

Investigators say Bobbi's roommate found her unconscious on the bathroom floor thirty minutes after last seeing her at 6:30 a.m. By 8:02 a.m., Bobbi was declared deceased after being taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa due to a cardiac arrest.

The report also included quetiapine (used to treat mental health issues like schizophrenia), omeprazole (which relieves indigestion, heartburn, and acid reflux), clindamycin (an antibiotic), and propranolol (an anti-anxiety medication), as "preliminary meds."

Her manner of death has been ruled an "accident."

Bobbi's passing was just roughly one year after the unfortunate death of her famous brother, Aaron.

Her other famous sibling, Nick Carter, released a touching tribute to Bobbi after her death, saying, "It may take a lifetime to fully process the loss my family has endured over the years – most recently, with the sudden passing of our sister Bobbie Jean. I am completely heartbroken."

The singer continued, "Thank you for all your love and kind words. We are reminded again that life is precious, fleeting and to cherish the time we have with the ones we love."

Nick concluded his post, writing, "I know she is finally at peace with God. I love you BJ."

Following the shocking news of her daughter's death, Jane Carter released a statement noting how heartbroken she was by her daughter's passing. She also referenced the tragic loss of her other kids, Leslie and Aaron.

"I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter, Bobbie Jean; and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time. When I am able to think clearly, I'll release a fuller statement; but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private," Jane told TMZ at the time.

She added, "[H]owever deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young child at the loss of a parent must be much greater. So, I would ask the sympathetic to say a prayer for my precious eight-year-old granddaughter Bella, who previously lost her father and is now also left without her mother."

Jane has now reportedly assumed the role of primary caretaker of her granddaughter, Bella.
