Doja Cat was denied a permanent restraining order against her brother, despite the abusive claims made by the rapper's mother last month.

This ruling comes weeks after the claims that Doja Cat, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, was a victim of physical and verbal abuse by her 30-year-old brother, Raman Dalithando Dlamin. The accusations were made by her mom, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer.

Deborah also accused her son of abuse, stating that she felt "unsafe" in his presence.

Due to the accusations, the mother of the 'Paint the Town Red' singer previously had a restraining order against Raman, but the legal protection had expired. Now, she has been granted a new five-year restraining order.

Doja, on the other hand, was not granted a restraining order, despite the claims that her brother stole from and destroyed the singer’s property, and left her with bruises and cuts.

As The Blast previously reported, Doja's mom claimed that her son had given her daughter cuts and bruises and even went as far as knocking out her teeth, which resulted in Doja feeling “unsafe and traumatized.”

"Raman has destroyed and stolen property," the initial filing stated. "Raman has verbally assaulted [Doja] in a very degrading and demeaning [manner]. Raman has made her feel unsafe and traumatized."

Deborah also accused her son of being physically abusive, going as far as threatening her multiple times over the past year.

"I need these orders to protect the physical and emotional well-being of all parties listed," the initial petition, filed by Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, stated. "I am not only worried and fearful of physically violent episodes, but the tremendous mental and emotional damage that is being done."

A judge ruled temporary protection for Deborah against her 30-year-old son last month -- until a hearing for a permanent restraining order could happen.

In the past, Doja's mom alleged that her son blocked her from entering her home and refused to leave.

"I felt unsafe in his presence," Deborah said in the initial filing. "His actions have caused extreme fear while sleeping" and she now has "constant anxiety and fear."

Deborah's grandson, Myles, also allegedly suffered from verbal abuse through "insults, shaming and demeaning slurs," per the filing. The parents of the 13-year-old teen were not identified in the petition.

Now, weeks later, a judge has granted Doja's mom, Deborah, a five-year restraining order, however, he denied Doja Cat's request.
