The 21-year-old gymnast, renowned for her presence both on the mat and online, delivered an electrifying floor routine on Friday. This performance was pivotal as the Tigers clinched victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks, achieving their highest score in program history with an impressive 198.475-196.200 win.

'Unbelievable' Talent

Despite having missed two consecutive meets, Dunne stepped into the spotlight, substituting for teammate KJ Johnson in the floor lineup. Her remarkable performance earned her a score of 9.875, matching her season-best and contributing significantly to the team's success.

On YouTube, where an ESPN video of her Friday floor routine has garnered over 300,000 views, fans express their awe.

"Unbelievable what she can do!" exclaimed one viewer, while another commented, "That's absolutely perfection there."

Getting 'Better'

While LSU's impressive final score left many in awe, head coach Jay Clark, who achieved his 100th career victory as head coach on Friday, emphasized that his focus remains on the overall performance of the team.

Clark emphasized the team's improvement, stating, "Well, we got better. That’s what this week was about. The focus and the main goal was to get a good performance, a complete performance."

He further elaborated, "I know everyone wants to talk about the score tonight and that’s great. I do not focus on whether we get a low or high score. It’s about our performance. We did our job tonight and we can do that same performance somewhere else. For us, it's about keeping our eye on the next step ahead of us and just taking it one step at a time."

With a record of 5-2 overall, the Tigers are gearing up for their upcoming match against Georgia next Friday.

Celebrating Their Win

Dunne is certainly savoring her senior year with the team.

Following the victory, she shared a set of celebratory photos on Instagram, captioning it "Our pleasure."

At the recent meet, the gymnast and SI Swimsuit model donned a white-and-purple leotard, striking poses on the floor with her perky buns on display. In the subsequent slide, she showcased another rear view while being celebrated with the Tigers.

Dunne's bestie and teammate Elena Arenas commented, "I see what ya did there," while Annie Beard remarked, "THAT SANDWHICH IS ??"

Fellow influencer Katie Feeney expressed, "You amaze me," along with a purple heart emoji.

Savouring Every Moment

As her senior season approaches, Dunne, valued at $3.5 million under NIL, reflected on cherishing the present in an interview with Elle last summer.

"I know it’s coming to an end, so I’m trying to take in every single last memory I can," she shared. "but I’m also excited to see what the future holds."

Considering her options post-graduation, Dunne contemplates relocating to Malibu, New York City, or Florida.

"Probably I'll end up near a beach, I'm guessing,” Dunne said. "Then I can just honestly go back to what I started doing. I could flip around on the beach. I could. That's how it all happened. All of this…"
