Ahead of the Super Bowl, Christian McCaffrey's mom, Lisa, says she is boycotting pop icon Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce

On February 11, the San Francisco 49ers will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. But drama is unfolding between sides, as Taylor Swift is dating Travis Kelce, who is facing off against Lisa's son, Christian McCaffrey.

As Swift is (obviously) rooting for the Chiefs, Christian McCaffrey's mom wants nothing to do with the 'Blank Space' singer as her son is on the 49ers. In fact, she says she is going as far as boycotting the pop icon.

Lisa McCaffrey recently discussed the upcoming NFL game on her “Your Mom” podcast. As Christian and his family prepare for the Super Bowl, Lisa is saying that they are refusing to listen to any Taylor Swift songs this week.

“I refuse to listen to Taylor Swift songs for the next couple [of] days,” she said on the podcast. “I love her, I love the relationship, but we are boycotting any T. Swift songs,” she added.

As you know, Taylor Swift has taken over the sports world this year after she and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, went public in September. Although Lisa admits she loves the pop icon, she claimed that "if she pops up on the radio station ... nope."

"She’s dead to us this week," Lisa concluded on the podcast.

This latest news comes after Lisa blamed Taylor Swift's effect on the sport for the current Super Bowl prices.

“Long story short, they are outrageously expensive … I don’t know if it’s the Taylor Swift factor, I don’t know if it’s the first time in Vegas factor, there is just so much going on.”

Lisa said that the prices were so high that her son, who brings in approximately $16M per NFL season, nor her soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Olivia Culpo, who has an estimated net worth of $7M dollars, could not afford a suite at Allegiant Stadium.

Culpo, however, surprised Lisa with a Super Bowl suite, squashing the rumors about her and Christian's incomes -- proving that they can, in fact, afford a suite at the big game.

It is unclear if Taylor Swift will be able to attend the game to cheer on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, as she has a big show in Tokyo the night before.

As you may know, Taylor's Eras Tour is resuming next week, with her first shows taking place in Tokyo, Japan --  5,530 miles away from where the Super Bowl will be played. However, many reports and sources are claiming it is doable, and Taylor will be making the "brutal" flight to be there for Travis.

The Embassy of Japan released a statement saying that the travel time is possible, but Taylor has yet to announce if she will make time in her busy schedule for the Super Bowl.

Regardless, we will just have to wait and see if the 'Blank Space' singer will make the trip.
