The actress, who recently became a single woman again, was spotted out and about with orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman for what appeared to be a romantic night out in Los Angeles.
Sofia Vergara Reaffirms Single Status Out On First Public Date
Vergara is wasting no time in finding love for the third time following her just-concluded divorce. The former "Modern Family" actress and her new flame were seen smiling brightly as they had dinner at Cipriani restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.
For the date, the 51-year-old showcased a sultry style in a sheer black corset top, which she paired with matching satin slacks and a trench coat draped over her shoulders.
She finished the all-black ensemble with a brown-toned leather clutch pouch, while Saliman matched her style with a blue and black plaid shirt and a dark leather jacket. The pair's connection first became public in October, three months after her now-estranged husband filed for divorce when they were photographed going to dinner in Beverly Hills.
As it turns out, the mother-of-one is not the only one with a famous past relationship, as Page Six reported that Saliman was previously married to actress Bree Turner. The former lovebirds ended their decade-long marriage with two children in 2018.
On the other hand, Vergara parted ways with Manganiello in July after seven years of marriage. A source mentioned that the duo had been "growing apart for a while" and decided to take "some distance from each other to contemplate their future."
When reflecting on the union's collapse during an interview in January, the Colombian-American superstar admitted:
"My marriage broke up because my husband was younger. He wanted to have kids, and I didn't want to be an old mom. I feel it's not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that's not for me anymore."
She also expressed pride in her motherhood journey, sharing, "I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I'm ready to be a grandmother, not a mother." Adding a touch of humor, Vergara envisioned a future where love might enter her life but with a ready-made family. In her words:
"So, if love comes along, he has to come with [his own] children. I'm almost in menopause; it's the natural way of things."

Vergara Opened Up About Her Plan To Go On More Dates
Vergara's disclosure about the reason behind her split from Manganiello followed her appreciation of the press for their respectful coverage of her divorce.
The 51-year-old explained that being in the spotlight automatically meant that "people know that's part of being a celebrity." She added that she "knew it was gonna happen" because "you can't hide those things," before stressing:
"It wasn't bad. I think, you know, I have to say the press was very respectful and very nice. And I thought that they were gonna invent more things, and you know how it usually is. I was surprised and, you know, they, they kind of just said what it was and, and that was it."
Regarding life after the split, Vergara previously playfully hinted at moving on in New York City when she appeared on an episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." Raving about the array of options she has in the Big Apple, she told Fallon:
"I think that you have more options with men, also. I'm single now. So in New York, there's more people, there's not only like actors, write[rs] or directors. I think there's like a bigger… I'm going to spend more time in New York."
