The events that took place after a homeless man asked Graden for some tea as she walked by has the internet shedding tears, donating money, and praising her for her kindness.

As her TikTok video begins, we see her walking and hear her being approached off camera by someone asking for tea.

"I'm walking to Trader Joe's. You wanna walk with me," she responds back. The two then begin walking and stop at CVS.

"He's about to show me where he's gotta go cause he say he's in pain," she continued. "So, he just got insurance yesterday but it takes 45 days for his insurance to be active, so I told him I'm just gonna pay for it."

Graden also helped him find other medications he needs before heading over to Starbucks to get him his hot tea. She also walked to another CVS to find something they couldn't find at the first one.

"So I made it to the other CVS, and the guy was so nice. He gave us a heavy discount," she said. "He was like, I will find a good discount. And then I'm waiting for his prescription to get refilled."

After getting the medications, she headed back to the homeless man who was resting because it was getting harder for him to walk.

"He talked about he gonna go to a church," she said. "I said no, I'm gonna get you a hotel room."

She then walked him over to a nearby hotel and got him a room. At this point, the two have bonded and Graden started to call him "Unc." She gave him some money and her phone number before leaving.

Before she left, he revealed to her that he has prostate cancer.

"It was crazy because I was gonna get my groceries delivered and I decided to go on a walk," she said. "All you asked for was tea. You were so kind, I said I wanna do more for him, so I'm glad that you allowed me to help you."

After she got home, she finished up her video by saying she spent about four to five hours with her new friend and never actually got to the grocery store because she wanted to help him. She also said she wants to start a GoFundMe page for him.

After saying she wanted to start a GoFundMe page for "Unc," whose name is Alonzo, that's exactly what she did! And the attention it's received in just a few short hours is incredible.

"My name is Sanai and I’m a college student from California who recently moved to DC for school. I needed groceries and decided to walk to the grocery store instead of getting them delivered. I love making TikTok videos (@hustlanani) and decided to vlog my trip to the grocery store. During my trip, I was stopped by a kind man who asked for tea. He didn't ask for money all he wanted was tea. I offered him to walk with me to the grocery store. After walking and talking he decided to open up about his current situation. I've learned that he’s homeless, has no family, and currently has prostate cancer," Graden shared in the GoFundMe description.
