In an interview on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," TV star Elisabeth Moss finally confirmed that she's pregnant with her first child. It comes just as June Osbourne, her character in "The Handmaid's Tail," also gets pregnant.

During the interview, Kimmel asked Moss, "Are you pregnant or just an incredibly committed method actor?"

She responded, "A little bit of both," and shared some insight into her pregnancy experience so far. The "Mad Men" star told Kimmel that so far, she's been "really lucky" in the pregnancy and everything has "been going really well."

The rumors of Moss' actual pregnancy began in December when photos of her rubbing her swollen belly emerged online. At the time, she was walking on the set of her latest film project in Los Angeles. Moss was wearing an oversized gray shirt and black sweatpants and looked happy as she laughed with some people around her.

Jimmy Kimmel Gives Elisabeth Moss Baby Advice

During the interview, Moss also asked Kimmel to share some baby advice, as he currently has four kids. The TV host then gave her some advice he received from comedy legend Bill Murray as he and his wife, Molly McNearney, prepared for the birth of one of their kids.

Kimmel said, "He said, 'Bring Christmas lights to hang up [in the delivery room],'" and reportedly told him to use battery-powered candles. He explained, "Because the lighting is terrible in the room. It's Walmart-style lighting for this blessed event that's going to happen, and you don't want that."

During a 2018 interview with Marie Claire UK, Moss spoke about her desire to be a mother someday. She said, "I like the idea of passing on what my mother passed on to me. It's not for everybody, and I didn't know if it was going to be for me, but lately, I think it is."

In 2022, during another interview with You Magazine, Moss stated that she now "definitely" wants to have her own kids in the future. According to the Daily Mail, she said, "I've been very inspired by the kind of mother my mum is. She did a beautiful thing with me."

Despite the pregnancy, it's unclear if Moss is currently in a relationship as she's private about her love life. She was previously married to actor Fred Armisen for eight months, which eventually ended in 2010.

The joyful news about Moss' pregnancy comes after the tragic death of her father earlier this January. According to a report, her father, Ron Moss, passed on at age 79 after suffering from an undisclosed infection.

The news was released by Ron's grandson, Max, who said he died peacefully at their home in Clearwater, Fla, surrounded by their family.

The statement read, "Ron made so many friends throughout his rich life and we want everyone to know that you all meant so much to him. Thank you for everything that any of you did for him throughout his life."

Moss herself has yet to address the death of her father, Ron publicly. Like his daughter, Ron was also a loyal member of the Church of Scientology.
