Dakota Johnson Uses Taylor Swift To Shade Donald Trump On 'SNL'

During her 'Saturday Night Live' monologue, Dakota Johnson used Taylor Swift's name to take a jab at former President Donald Trump.
The '50 Shades of Gray' actress hosted the nighttime show over the weekend for her second time, where she was joined by musical guest Justin Timberlake.
When she opened the show, she took a trip down memory lane, recalling the first time she hosted 'SNL', which was nearly 10 years ago.

“The last time I hosted was right after the ‘SNL’ 40th [anniversary]. I was actually in the audience for that special,” she told the audience and viewers as a photo from the 2015 show appeared on the screen.
“Look at this collection of people: Sarah Palin, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg,” the 34-year-old went on, adding, “and look who’s sitting right behind me."
As she spoke, the camera panned to show viewers that former President Donald Trump was sitting near Johnson.
“It's just crazy to be standing so close to someone who would become the most powerful person in America,” she added, as the camera then zoomed over to show who the actress was really referring to -- pop icon Taylor Swift.
As you know, Swift was named TIME's Person of the Year last year and has entered her billionaire era as a Bloomberg News analysis stated that her net worth has moved past $1 billion. She had an excellent 2023 as she broke records with her Eras Tour, generating $780 million between March and September. Swift is set to continue her tour as she performs internationally, which is expected to bring in the same numbers as her U.S. tour.
A movie version of the tour was released late last year, which broke box-office records in itself and grossed more than $170 million.
On the other hand, Forbes estimated Trump's net worth as $2.6 billion last September, while Bloomberg claims it was $3.1 billion in November 2023.
Taylor Swift Gives Back To The Community
Although she is now a billionaire, Swift continues to stay humble as she shows support and gives back to the community through donations and other acts of service.
Last year, she quietly donated to local food banks in Glendale, Arizona, and in Las Vegas.
“We don’t know about you, but we’re feeling grateful on this day, March 22!” Nevada’s Three Square organization shared on Instagram at the time. “@TaylorSwift has made a generous gift to Three Square, allowing us to provide thousands of meals to families and individuals struggling with hunger. Thank you to Ms. Swift for supporting our mission and the local community.”
In December 2023, Swift gave a $1 million donation to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee following the devastating tornadoes that left at least six people dead and dozens of others hurt.
More recently, she supported Patrick and Brittany Mahomes's foundation after becoming close to the couple as she is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The pop icon donated signed merchandise to the Mahomies Foundation, which helps improve the lives of children through initiatives that focus on health and wellness.
