In a recent episode of "Bumpsuit's" podcast, "Rumer shared her experience with elimination communication, a method that involves recognizing a baby's nonverbal cues for bathroom needs instead of relying on diapers.

Enthusiastically discussing the process with "Bumpsuit" founder Nicole Trunfio, Rumer stated, "It's incredible. It's so validating."

She continued, "We got a little potty. Derek even has a little potty song he plays for her," and then proceeded to sing the special potty song, per People magazine.

Rumer emphasized the natural bodily awareness of babies, stating: "Babies have bodily awareness, so they don't want to poop themselves. We train them out of it by putting them in diapers, and look, there's no way I can catch all of her pees."

Speaking to People, the "Sorority Row" actress stated that while watching "Moonlighting," she noticed similarities between her daughter and father's facial expressions, especially a discerning look reminiscent of her father.

The star described: "Whenever she's got a stern discerning look on her face, I just see Bruce Willis. My dad – especially on Moonlighting – has this little side smirk, that very [mischievous] twinkle in his eye, and I see that so much in her. We were ecstatic, beyond ecstatic, because we used to watch it literally on videotape."
